I was wondering what the test spec/procedure is for the 4 wire stator?
Also will shorted out starter damage anything else in the system?
I know the regulator/rectifier is bad as well, I am assuming this was caused by the shorted battery.
Trying to get it up and back running, currently has no spark but before I spend any money I want to make sure the stator is good, to prevent further damage.
Hello This is my first post here and I had a question or wanted a verification about replacing my 400 camshaft with a 500 HO cam. Can I just replace the camshaft and exhaust rocker? thanks for any replies
I just replaced my fuel filter regulator and fuel pump. I was able to start it up fine and ran it for a couple minutes. About 3 hours later I came back to it to out everything back together. Once I did this I couldn’t get it to start. I’m able to get it to fir by spraying a Littl starting fluid into the air box. I notice that my fuel isn’t pumping that strong unless I put a battery charger to it. Can someone help me please?
I’ve used Mobil 1 synthetic oil and tranny fluid in lieu of the Polaris brand from day 1 with no issues but haven’t heard of a good sub for the Front Drive hubs?
Hey guys, I am looking at upgrading my rear springs on my 12 sportsman 800. My question is, do I need the adaptor plates ( Polaris Spring Adapter Kit ) they mention on high lifters website or not? Also, Am I better doing the front the same time or not? The rear sags a lot compared to the front. Do I need their tool they mention or can I use an automotive spring compressor?
i have 2013 500 HO. CURRENTLY RUNNING A QSC CLUTCH KIT FOR 30IN MONSTER MAYHEMS. BIG GUN FULL EXHAUST. UNI AIR FILTER. ALSO A BIGGER MAIN JET AND PILOT JET IN TH CARB. TRYING TO GET A LITTLE MORE POWER.ANY TIPS. BETTER CLUTCHES? WANT TO KEEP RELIABILITY.
Anyone have a GSE slip on muffler on their 850? These guys are local and the mufflers are made here in the USA. They have a dual exhaust and a flame tammer. How do they sound? The price is relatively cheap compared to others. They also say u do not need a programmer. Any input would be appreciated !
