Aftermarket replacement handlebars?

I’ve looked all over the webernet and on this forum and have found nothing yet. I’m looking for some input on replacing the stock handlebars on a Sportsman 850 xp.

I bent my stock bars and ordered new ones from Polaris. I’ll put these on for now but I would like to put some aftermarket bars on and would love to see some pictures of others that have made this mod.

I’m fine with losing the high beam but would prefer not to. Also has any one moved the Speedo display down into the tank plastic?

Scrambler’s and Sportsmans are similar enough so send both…. Thanks for the input..

2014 Sportsman 400 HO. Lost carb drain hose and check valve. Question?

We ride water in south fl and last time out the popo started wanting to stall bad in water…
I noticed the carb drain hose is missing with a 1 way check valve.
BUT the screw is tight , so i would imagine that would not be a issue?
Am i correct?

The key ignition just so happen to also fall apart. I put it back together and taped it so we could ride the rest of weekend but it really got bad after a few starts i had to jump the starter solenoid.
Not sure if that could be it but the ignition is high and should not have been getting wet.

Another question is on the parts list it showing $22 for drain fuel line and $7 for the check valve…… Anyone confirm the fuel line size so i dont have to spend $22 + shipping on it?

Really could use some help. Thanks

Tryin to get this brake bleed thing straight

Long story short I had to disconnect my right front caliper to do some other work and now that it’s all back together I need to refill and bleed that brake line. First time doing this and to the best of my knowledge the only two ‘line ends’ I’ll need to work with are my right handlebar reservoir and the bleed valve on the caliper itself. Considering the caliper I took off are there any other parts on the bike besides these I need to be concerned about?

Now insofar as back bleeding vs. top down bleeding goes…I understand that since bubbles rise, only doing a top down bleed leaves open the possibility of leaving some bubbles in the vertical brake line. But since the bleed valve on the caliper is an inch or more above where the banjo bolt brake fluid lines comes in (on my bike anyway) you would have to do at least some top down bleeding to make sure all the bubbles escape from the caliper out the higher positioned bleed valve. Together these two ideas imply that it might be best to do both some top down and bottom up bleeding. Any thoughts?

Anybody have a somewhat educated idea of how quickly air bubbles rise in the vertical line between the caliper banjo bolt and the handle? If they rise slowly enough seems like it would be possible to bleed the whole thing by doing only a top down.

2012 sportsman 850 eps

Hey everyone,

This is my first time posting mostly just enjoy the threads and good place to pick up technical data but I am stumped this time. I have a 2012 sportsman 850 EPS with 1300km on it (for the American friends 809 miles). I purchased it second hand last summer with 600km (372 miles). So the issues I am having first was 3234767 Asm., Switch Shaft decided to grenade locking me in lo range. took apart replaced added new fluids put everything back together perfect ran great. Next came the all so famous TPS code 520194 – 7 dealer inspected replaced the TPS sensor and set it. Start quad up now throwing code 51-3 TPS voltage to high as well as 102 – 2 Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor and now throwing 520194-7 again. All sensors were replaced the first go around and to top it all off shifting became increasingly harder and now it is stuck once again in high range now. To note the belt was recently replaced and the old one had normal wear on it and clutches were checked for proper shimming etc. So if anyone has any thoughts on this it would be greatly appreciated as I do love my 850 but if this keeps up there will be a outlander 1000 with my name on it.

2005 Sportsman 6×6 chain alignment

Hoping someone can answer this question for me. Working on a 2005 Sportsman 6×6 and the chain from the mid drive to the rear drive is not in a straight line front to back, it is at an angle. Have replaced all sprockets, thinking that might be the problem, but still not in line. Now maybe it is supposed to be offset like that, but I understand that chain comes off the sprockets on a regular basis. Any ideas/photos/tips/help would be greatly appreciated.
