Hey guys, new to the site and need some help. I have an 05 Sportsman and I need the silencer for it. The part number on the Silencer is 1261448 but Polaris said it should be 1261449. Is there anywhere I can get this part used or an aftermarket one?
Has anyone ever tired to, tie the low beam headlights in with the high beam? What I’m thinking would be nice is to keep the low beams the way they are, then when you switch to high beams, instead of the low turning and leaving you with just the handle bar head light you would have all three on at the same time. What do you guys think is it possible?

Does anyone know of a good snow plow for a 14 Sportsman 400. Ive never used a plow but I really think I want one, tired of the bad driveway and hill to my home. Thanks
For the last couple of months I’ve been looking for a used crankcase and crankshaft to install in my 2010. I have no luck in locating anything and am beginning to think I’ll have to purchase new. I was just wondering if you guys have been able to find good prices online. I checked with the local dealer, but seems like his prices are all MSRP values. I appreciate any advise on where to look for used or best prices on new parts. I also put the part numbers below.
wanting to know if i can use a flywheel from an 02 sportsman 500, the only difference i see is the magneto is one piece and the 98-99 magneto is in sections on the flywheel. The reason i ask is the stator is the same from 98-02 so i figured the newer style flywheel should work on the 98-99. any help or advice is much appreciated
I am new to this forum, and new to the Polaris owners club. I have recently Purchased a 2014 570HD (Australian Model). I would like to add an LED reverse light which turns on Automatically when reverse is selected, I am not interested in the Reverse Override function which other threads mention.
I was wondering if anyone could help me with any wiring diagrams/ideas of how complete just the automatic reverse light mod using an Auxilary LED light?
Can it be completed using only one relay, using a wire spliced from the gear selection sensor for reverse (I believe this is purple?) as the trigger wire (30) for the relay? A power wire from the battery (or a power source) to 86, a ground wire to 85 and the positive wire from the light to 87?
Any help appreciated, I’ve asked this question on another thread because I’m not sure who to ask or how to best make it available to them.
