So,, Long story short I have a 02 700 that I love, but if I try to go above 3/4 throttle going up any type of incline (even sometimes on flat ground) my machine bogs down terribly. to the point that I have to come to a complete stop and then return to 3/4 or less throttle before it will perform regularly again. But if I keep it under 3/4 throttle it works fine and I have enough power to climb hills and do whatever else is necessary. I noticed that on the way down it performed great, even full throttle. I recently had the dealership do a carb job on it and a bunch of other stuff to fix this problem but it still does it. Im guessing its a clutch issue.. do you think Im on the right path? thoughts or suggests?

i need a muffler for 1996-1997 Polaris sportsman 500. I wondered what years will fit a 96-97. Not sure which it is but other years must fit but I can’t find anything. Thanks for the help
I’ve done nothing but baby this bike in my garage. I keep it on a battery tender and always un plug it before starting. I’m about to sell it since I don’t really have a good place to ride, its taking up space, another kid on the way (3 total),….I just really can’t stand to look at it and have it remind me everyday that I’m not riding.
I figured out the dying at idle problem. A simple twist of the throttle cable to make the safety switch happy and that’s fixed. About a month ago I took the wife for a ride, it got dark when time to come home and that’s when I noticed the headlights were dead nothing else was wrong. No biggie, I’ll check the fuses later. I did not check them but i went go to take the kids for a spin and notice now that the speedo/gauge closer is dead.
This bike is self destructing!

Does anyone know what it would take to convert an 05 800 Sportsman from dual exhaust to singe? If you do, can you supply me with a link or part numbers needed?
I have a 2004 Sportsman 90 that the reverse light is on and the rev limiter is engaged and won’t shut off even when going forward. Can’t seem to find a service manual download for the 2004 nor can I find how it this machine knows which direction it is going. Must be something internal that detects direction ?
What should I be looking for to fix this could it be a bad CDI box ?

Has anyone seen the 2016 sportsman highlifter edition? Comes snorkeled and radiator relocated, wondering if I can buy the snorkels and radiator relocate for my sportsman so I won’t void the warranty.
Hi – I have a 2014 sportsman 850 HO EPS and recently bought some rigid industries dually LED spot lights for my OEM bush guard. The bulbs are 5700 kelvin and I like the light/color. I would like to switch out my stock front bulbs to match the color….can anyone suggest brand/type that would work? Thanks.
