Sportsman 700 EFI Fuel Delivery Problem?

I’ve got a 2005 700 EFI with about 400 hours and 3000 miles on it. I’ve always keep it well maintained. Today, went up a steep, rocky, bumpy area for 30 minutes in 4L. Shut it down at the top of the hill, and after restarting, it started right away, but died after a few seconds. Many times. 80 degrees out, and dry. And then….ran just fine. Gas was 1/2 tank premium, non-ethanol. Plugs and battery good. Fuel filter and fuel pump never messed with. I’d appreciated any thoughts about what might have happened.

Sportsman 800 engine seized?

Wheeler just quit on the trail. No noise or anything. The starter tris to turn you hear the click from the starter and flywheel but that’s it. If you keep trying the positive wire on the state gets hot and starts melting. I’ve pulled the starter and it bench tested fine. What should be my next step to see if it is the engine seized?

Hawkeye noise

Brought out my 2007 Hawkeye for a 3 hr ride friday. Ran fine the whole time till i went to turn it off. Sounded like marbles rolling around behind the the belt cover area. Got it to make the sound 4 times, but by the time i got home it stoped making sound, any idea what could have made the sound? It still runs great no loss of power or odd behaviours.

2011 500 HO–Idle mixture screw

Hello guys , I have been trying for a week through my dealer to get a new Idle mixture screw , when trying to remove mine I destroyed the brass screw , they do not show it in their carb breakdown, and have been in contact with Polaris .
I can not believe that this is not a common replacement part.(brass in all).

can any one shed some light on this , part # or any ideas of where else to get one ??

thanks

Really need help on 2001 400

So Im just going to run down the list of what my quad is doing and then tell what ive done to rectify the situation.

So one day I hopped on my quad and the start button no longer worked. I thought maybe the battery had died but realized later it was something electrical.

Jumping the solenoid would work. The lights kind of worked but then gave up and no longer work now. Pulled the solenoid off and realized that one of the small wires on the solenoid had rusted off its connector that connects to the post under the battery side of the soilenoid, and come loose. Cleaned all connections and reattached. No luck.

Replaced the solenoid yesterday and no luck. Tested the fuse block in a bag thing right by the solenoid and got 9.5 volts on one side and the same on the other.

Found another fuse in a bag under the hood and it had 9.5 on side and about 6.0 on the other? I was going to replace that one. Is that something I can get at a normal auto parts store? and whats it called?

Also I forgot that I took out the front fuse block thing, but I can no longer jump the solenoid and get it to crank.

Another piece of info the odometer does work when the keys on. No speedo or anything though. And for awhile before this all started happening the speedo pod was a little intermittent.

Thanks for the help everyone. Just really need to get this back to the switch start before winter plowing comes around and pull starting becomes more of a pain.
