I got my bike and had no time to use it yet, my buddy’s are going on a all day snow/mud run. Should I go? Or do what the manual suggests for a break in?

Finally got it!
Picked up my 570 today. I purchased it a week ago but the dealer threw in a 3500 lb winch and it had to be ordered in so it took a week. 2015 built on 1/14/15, I sure hope I do not have any heat issues. Took her for a few spins around the block and I have to admit I am loving the EPS, but not liking the EBS.

Split audio tubes, might begin making for others?
After working on my audio tubes and the logistics to make it work on front of 570 sportsman I have been toying with the idea of making them for other people with the new sportsman. I will repost my photos of completed tubes on front rack. PM me if you interested.
700 mile review
hey guys. Just figured I’d throw out a review. So let’s dive right in shall we? For starters mine is a 2014 camo eps ebs 570. She just clocked 700 when I unloaded at the shop. So, I’ll start with the positives. This wheeler has amazing power. My old man just bought a new grizz 700. And we raced and I have him 2-3 lengths until about 50-55. I’ve topped out at 70 according to the speedometer. But who knows how accurate that is. I haven’t had any engine problems in my 700 miles. Last weekend I took her down the snowmobile trail and never got stuck. Plenty of power. The ride is great. I love the storage. The eps is second to none. The battery has been good so far. Started all winter. Even at -50! Alright. Now the part you’ve all been waiting for, the negatives. So I have had the melting issue. They gave me a more nylon based seat compared to the polyurethane based stock seat. The seat fitment isn’t the greatest but I think that’s to prevent rubbing and wear. Anyway, I just dropped her off at the shop yesterday to get a new spark plug boot. It keeps coming loose and idles like garbage. The racks, are pretty cheesy. Broke mine once by strapping my auger down. I hate the tie offs on it. I just wish everyone had metal racks. I guess I’m just old school. But that’s about all I can say for negatives. Hope this helps some guys out that are on the fence bout buying a 570. Just remember – basically everyone on a forum is crying about problems, so that’s all your going to find. Cheers!
To all those 570 SP owners
Whats the best cleaner you’ve used on your ATV? What do y’all detail with? And inparticular , what do you use to clean your muffler? It seems as if its the only part of the bike that stays dirty.
One more Q.
Went into the garage today and the Battery was DEAD. And I don’t mean it did the click click click thing… I mean DEAD. Last time I cranked it was about 3 weeks ago. I don’t keep a trickle charger on. I just hook up to the 2 amp charger every month or so. Bout 3 weeks ago I had to use the trailer so I cranked and backed it off the trailer, rode around the hood a bit and then back on the trailer. Everything seemed fine. Today, dead dead DEAD. It is a 2014 bought in Feb 2014. Only about 20 hours. any suggestions. Could the battery just have completely died like that?
Groundhog Max Disc.
Shot in the dark here. Has anyone used the Groundhog Max disc on one of the 570’s? I had used it on my old 600 and there was a way to reinforce the hitch by running a bar back under the frame and attaching it with a bolt. This is not an option on the 570. All of the holes have something blocking them… can’t get a bolt through. And I think if I simply use a 1 and 1/4 inch to 2 inch adapter it is going to put too much pressure on the hitch due to the extra length. Hoping someone else has run into this. Thanks.
How big of tires before needing to reclutch?
I’m curious how big of tires I can put on my stock 2015 570 before needing to reclutch it? I plan on adding a HMF can and fuel optimizer and upgrade the axels before adding wheels and tires.
Chainsaw
I was wondering how everybody with a 570 was carrying their saws. Is there a lock and ride mount or are people making their own? Pictures will help haha. Just looking for ideas.
