I have a 2015 polaris sportsman touring 570. I’ve only had 8t for about a month now and every time I get into water somehow water is getting down into my airfilter box. Is anyone else having this problem? Anyway I can rig it up so water and dirt can’t get down in there?
Thanks
So I have a 2014 570 camo build date of 11/2013 w/o EPS. Its the weirdest thing I can start it cold with no problem. Once the bike gets to temp after riding for a while the only way to start it is to bypass the solenoid. at first I figured that was the problem so I replaced it. Well it still happens. Any ideas or thoughts as to what could cause this?
Ok so here is what I am asking for…I have done my searching and found a few things I was looking for scattered around in different threads here and there. What I would like to do not only for me but for anyone else looking for this more specific info…is allocate images and such into one post.
After a nice long roughly 8 hour day at Xtreme Offroad with a couple of guys from the forums…I was keenly aware of just how hot everything was getting (especially that right hand side!). That being said I have already started to pick up or order what all I am needing to do some personal heat elimination.
Iv’e already got my 2” exhaust wrap at 50′ length, the stainless binding straps for the wrap and also I am doing something I have not seen anyone else do or mention to their exhaust wrap…and that is seal it. Below Is a link to the product I am talking about. This should help keeping debris/moisture out of it and hopefully prevent rusting.
I also have some aluminum flat bar, and tubing if I need to make any adjustments to the seat.
Now here’s where everyone else comes into play… Post up some pictures of how and where you did your heat treaments on YOUR 570’s. Not only will this give me an idea but others who come along as well where to apply heat shielding or to make little tweaks. Anything you can throw up here that is actually related to this issue would be GREATLY appreciated!
Finally put paddles on the sportsman, I am a dune head, and can’t wait to try them out! I am going Saturday, I will inform you all on the difference over stock tires.
Finally got the clutch done and bike put back together after a good cleaning, runs good and much better acceleration for runnin 27’stje nicking and slapping noise the was there from the factory is gone… But when I let off the throttle it has like a slight wine to it like a turbo winding down, anyone else notice this???
Does anyone know if the first break in maintenance needs to be done by the dealer to keep the warranty from becoming void? They charge alot and basically do a $20 oil change.. Would I be doing wrong by them, by doing this myself?
Thanks in advance

Was trail riding today for 30 miles and bike ran fine no problems. When I got home to unload as I turned they key on the my fuel pump is making a whining noise and it has never done this before, anybody else have this happen? should I be concerned? 2015 Sportsman 570 EPS.
Ok, looked thru owners manual, and googled it, but cannot find it. My 2015 570SP has "4×2" , "4×4" and then a 3rd position that says "4×4" with a picture of a atv on an incline.. ???????
Extra slow gear for descending steep hills ?
Went on an overnight trip that didn’t go so well. Friday evening about 1 a.m I screwed up trying to cross a rut and rolled it over. It landed directly on top of me and luckily there were 8 of us because I’d probably still be under it. My arm is pretty sore but I’m lucky. Broke some plastic, bent the rear rack bar. Broke the brake fluid reservoir on the handlebar. Still was able to ride. It was fine till the next day. A couple of hours of riding and it started to overheat. It went in to limp mode and I had to wait for it to cool down before I could head back to camp. Overheated three more times trying to get back. Ruined the rest of the weekend for me. Warranty is up in two weeks. Gonna fix the broken pieces and take it in to the dealer.
