EBS Squealing

I noticed going downhill on some pretty steep trails, the EBS started to make squealing noises like a belt slipping. Not sure if anyone has experienced this, or if there’s an adjustment for this.

sportsman 570 noise

Hey guys, I’m new to the polaris ATV world and purchased my 570 last week. On the weekend when I was out I notices that when I was driving and would let off the throttle there would be a clunk, then when I would press the throttle it would clunk again. Called the dealership and the service guy told me it’d the clutch and that it’s nothing to worry about. Also when I go really slow say just faster than a crawl it has a popping noise but has soon as I give it some throttle it goes away. Guess I’m just curious as this is the first atv I’ve owned that isn’t a yamaha. Any opions on this would be greatly appreciated. Other than that love the bike so far, lots of power and the ride is great. Look forward to hearing from some other 570 owners

Adjust toe out on 570.. How to?..

Hey fellas.. What can you tell me about how to adjust the toe on the front of a 570?.. Since new, my front left wheel (left if you’re standing in front of the machine). Has been toe’d out.. As in, from the front.. With the handle bars straight. The left front wheel looks like it’s turning slightly right.. Normal toe always looks a little like that but this is beyond where it should be.. It honestly hasn’t affected the ride to any noticeable level, but I should address it.. I did the measurement according to the manual and it’s definitely out of alignment.. You can really see it when compared to the other side.. So my question is.. What is the process for adjusting the toe back in a bit?.. Is this something best left to the pro’s or is it fairly simple?.. I haven’t done much research.. No you tubing or anything yet.. Figured I’d start with you lads first for some tips..

Anyone else have eps problems

So far I’ve had to have two EPS units installed. The first one had a lot of play in it handlebars would move up a quarter inch so it was replaced at the dealer under warranty. The new unit only worked for an hour. Brought it back to dealer and the said it was a faulty unit so they replace that one. The bike is out of warranty now so I’m just curious is anyone else having problems. Dealer said it would be over 2k to have replaced the eps it is like 1800 plus labor. The bike is out of warranty now so I’m just curious is anyone else having problems

Exhaust Removal

Well I had an extremely busy weekend so I did not get to spend hardly any time at all working on my quad. I did take the panels off and heat sheidled them. I also was able to remove the heat shields off of the exhaust, but when it came time to remove the exhaust itself…I ran into a snag. Those damn springs on the exhaust are TIGHT. Thats putting it nicely. Since I didn’t want to break anything I stopped where I was and let it sit until I could get on here and try to get some help.

Does anyone have any advice for me on removing the exhaust system?

I want it off to properly wrap it and also to get the silicone sealant coating on it done well.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

When AWD becomes 3wd

After a weekend of not excessively rough riding my 570 is stuck in AWD but only 3 of the wheels are spinning, leaving me with a 3wd bike. I tried driving in reverse, switching back and forth between between 2wd and awd. As odd as it sounds, its in 3wd. Has anyone else experienced similar have any clue?

my problem

went riding this weekend and everything was going good we went threw a little puddle by now means anywhere close to being sunk or even stuck but after i went threw it the ole 570 started to idle a little high and then shut off..i started it back up and noticed that it was still idling funny and then it died again would crank but not start….we towed it back to camp and checked it over started with the checking air box and filter and where it goes into the motor and nothing in there just some dirt in the air box but nothing where it goes into the motor then checked the spark plug and replaced it anyway just to be sure still nothing i put my hand over the air intake and it felt like it had plenty of good compression the only thing we were able to get out of it was backfire a couple of times…i have the extended warranty and it is going to the dealer i was just wondering if any of yall might have an idea and if it is going to cost me a kidney to get fixed thanks in advance
