3 brakes?

I just picked up my wife’s 2015 sportsman 570 SP LE from it’s first service. We stopped to get gas and I did a quick walk around in the parking lot just out of curiosity. I noticed that there was no brake assembly on the left rear axle!! Is this normal? The front has two. It looks like it was never installed. There are no brake lines dangling or marring from bolts being installed. What is going on here!?!

Hid Lights

Well i see alot of people posting about lights,i just installed this and it was really easy install, ran the ballast i guess its call to the cargo box…for the price of $30 i gotta say im sastified might have to return my led bar i just order lol

Back to the heat issue…

OK so I have started breaking down my machine and just need a spring puller to finish the pipe removal then I can pull the header off but was curious…anyone know when I put the header back on are those large Allen Bolts supposed to be torqued and if so to what # ? …you know it’s killing me seeing this machine in pieces…it’s got 4 miles on it! ….but it’s just too hot for the wife, and it’s her machine so you do what ya gotta do! Cerakote 1500 on the heat shields, seat tangs, pipe & header…and adding an upgraded heat shield fabric where ever I can!

Why no pull starter?

My girlfriend just picked up a lightly used Sportsman 450. Its a nice quad. Needs a new battery, but no problem as we can just pull the rope to start it like all other Polaris sportsmans of the past. My new 570 has no such option. I plan to add a Deka battery to it as Im not trusting of the stock battery and don’t want to get stuck somewhere cause of a dead battery and no other option to start it. Why no pull starter?
Has anyone been stuck or stranded and what can be done to avoid this.
Maybe I will have to add jumper cables to my already jam packed storage box.

Are these machines safe?

I just got a 2015 sportsman 570 sp. She has around 160 miles so far with no problems other than the usual clunks and squeeks.
I’m planning a trip with my friend (dirtbike) to goto hatfield and mccoy at the end of the month and I’m a little bit concerned about the reliability of polaris. I don’t want to get stranded out in the middle of nowhere because my brand new machine decides to not run.
Now to be fair I have had no problems so far. Just been reading pages and pages of disgruntled polaris owners.
It’s sad that I’m even thinking about this on a brand new machine. Paranoid I guess
