Rear Seat/Box -that works with factory rack extender

Hey guys,
I’m looking for an occasional use rear seat, or rear seat/box combo, for my 2015 570. I’ve searched here, and all over Google, without success to see if there’s any seat that:
– Is REMOVABLE
– Will fit with the rear RACK EXTENDERS installed.

Can’t find a pic, or any feedback. I tried to call Wes Industries (for their classic seat) to ask the question directly. LOL – Must be nice to be in Canada because they have a message that says then won’t be back in the office until August 10th. 🙂

Any help would be greatly appreciated

high beam

Over the weekend I noticed something odd with the new 570s. I thought Polaris is now having all 3 headlights come on with the high beam switch. I found out it is not like that for all the models. Is it only on the SP ones, and why would they not just wire them all up the same from assembly?

New member / new quad . Mini review

Hi all , coming in from Sask Canada here . New quad owner and new forum member . Anyways I’ve been lurking on here since I got my 570 about 2 months , lots and lots of great info on this site 4sure . This site helped me pick tires and fix some heat issues I was having . Thank you all .

Anyways I picked up a 2015 570 touring for myself and my 2 kids and wife . Kids are 2 & 5 , and gotta say they absolutely love going out with me on the sportsman . I have rode a few trikes and quads throughout the years but this is my first quad that I purchased , I’m a big Polaris fan from riding their sleds for the last 20 years , although currently I ride a Ski Doo renegade , I’m a fan of BRP as well but I went with the Sportsman over the Outlander simply because I much prefer the local Polaris dealership over the Can Am one .

So quick info here , I ride on mostly gravel roads , sled trails, cow trails , farm trails , ditches and a little bit of mud , though nothing to deep . I will be using it for hunting deer / moose / elk in the future , and will also be looking at getting a plow for the winter . (Really excited about plowing some snow haha)

I purchased the sled brand new from the local Polaris dealership and had excellent top notch service there . I had the quad in twice so far , once to fix a rattle I had which ended up being the gear shift shaft hitting a heat sheild . They fixed it no problem , also after I bought my tires , 2/4 tire beads let go the next morning so they also fixed this no problem and at the same time did the 20 hour service on the unit .

These forums are very packed with complaints about these 570’s but I gotta say mine has ran flawless so far , I have just over 20 hours and 270 miles on it so far and have rode it for just shy of 2 months . It’s never randomly shut off on me or given me any hassle so far at all . It’s got way more power then I thought it would , the motor has been excellent so far , I’ve had it up to 60 mph on the gravel and it seems very stable and safe . I’ve had it in mud about a foot deep and the factory tires got me out no problem , I’ve driven it through water up to the foot rests and never had any issues .

I purchased the KENDA HTR’s in factory size since it’s important to me to be able to fit in a 51" wide trailer . I had one complaint about the quad so far and that was the hot motor on right side , I wrapped the header and pipe with DEI wrap and that solved that

Anyways that’s about all I got right now , to recap 270 miles , no issues , only complaint was heat on right leg, fixed that with wrap .
I’m loving this quad so far and look forward to being a member of this site for years to come .

I’ll try to post a few pics of my rig on here for you guys .
Cheers

Tamarack Cargo Box/Seat LED Wiring into Tail Lights ?’s

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have figured out how to wire in the 3rd brake light for a passenger seat on the 570. Installed my uncles box yesterday and went to wire in the led 3rd brake light and found Polaris uses a constant 12v, constant ground and the last wire switches from a ground to 12v pos for the park light but then switches to a 1.1 reference volt for the brake light. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Voyager or Echo ATV trailer

I realize this is off topic from the 570, But did anyone else buy the Voyager/ Echo trailer with their purchase of ATV? I did and the wheel bearings vaporized while hauling my ATV. They replaced the entire axle springs everything, I pulled it about 60-70 miles and the bearings are loose again, Should I take it to someone who knows what they are doing and get it fixed or has anyone else had this problem and in that case should I just get another trailer, Any help appreciated, They are not seating the bearing apparently or its not a good trailer in the first place, I have the one capable of hauling 2 ATV at once sideways.
