570 touring 2015 foot riser??

Hello. Just bought a touring eps 2015. My wife is small and shes on tip toe. After 3 rides, she has some back pain

In the official polaris Web sitE , the 3 inches foot riser was made for 2010 to 2014 touring édition but nothing for 2015

Dealer told me they do not sell foot riser for passanger yet for 2015 édition. I wrote to polaris no answer yet and went to 2 shop that sell kimpex and all other brands and they dont have anything that fits easily to my model

I am in Québec Canada. Is there any of you here who ever seen passanger foot riser for this model any where or by any chance à member that works for polaris and could answer me?

Custom built complete exhaust for the 570 Sportsman

I have been thinking about doing this for a while. The stock exhaust on this quad is junk, among other things, but since I have so much money in the thing and am stuck with it, I figured I had better make it the way I want it. Nobody makes a complete exhaust for these yet as far as I can tell. If they do it still uses the stock short head pipe, and attaches from there back still using a crappy doughnut gasket. Which will cause issues if you try wrapping it.

The problems with the stock exhaust are numerous, heat, heat shields rattle/crack, steel pipe rusts when wrapped with header wrap, header wrap helps to keep heat down but cooks doughnut gaskets, causing leaks, which eventually causes you to remove header wrap and replace doughnut gaskets. Then you are back where you started. The stock muffler is very heavy and restrictive.

The exhaust I built is completely made out of stainless steel and only uses one flange that is a V band clamp style. The pipe size is bumped up slightly from 1.6" to 1.75". The only parts I used off the stock exhaust are the flange to the head, which worked out nice because it will fit inside the new stainless pipe. I also cut the 2 hangers off the stock muffler and welded them to the new muffler. I did away with an attachment point where the stock exhaust bolted to the frame using a rubber grommet. My grommet was already hard as a rock from all the heat. By doing away with this attachment point you also help keep vibrations down that are being transferred to the frame of the quad. Now that the system is made from SS it can be wrapped without worrying about rust. Two heat shields are done away with, the one bolted to the pipe itself and the outer shield near the rear fender are gone. Because of the higher flow exhaust and wrapped header they are no longer needed, I did add some DEI fiberglass heat shield tape to the inner part of the rear fender, like what is already stuck to the inside of the right side panel. After riding and testing the quad, heat is way down, power is up, and I am happy. The only issue some may not like is noise. It is louder, but has a good sound to it. Kinda like a sport quad. I made a video but did not get a rev.

If I ever buy a programer, I am sure there is even more power to be had with a tune.

Some newbie questions about my 570?

I’m sorry if these questions seem quite basic but I’m completely new to atv’s and I just purchased a 2015 sportsman 570 with eps, ebs, efi, etc. Only 15 miles and still in the break in procedure. I was told by my dealer to take my machine in for first service at 50 miles which I will. I by no means am a serious trail rider. I will be using my machine mostly to get my mail(3/4mile dirt road to the mailbox), haul deer out of the woods, and haul firewood from backyard stacks to front porch, and occasionally take my daughter for a ride in the woods on the trail. When Im hauling something should I always put it in low gear? When I’m not hauling things should I always leave it in high gear? When I go to the mailbox I usually don’t go over 10 mph. I guess I’m just trying to figure out what gear I should be in for different situations? Same with 4×4, should I put it in high or low? I just don’t want to damage the motor by doing something I shouldnt be doing. Sorry for such juvenile questions but I have never been around atv’s and want to do things right. Thank you.

Brake Issues? ?

I have the 2014 Sportsman 570. I don’t ride much, not rough on this machine at all. I recently took a short 5 mile ride on a level trail, 2.5 miles up the trail I noticed my hand brake getting ‘spongy’. I stopped and looked for anything noticeably wrong, nothing I could see, no wet spots of fluid or anything. I turned around and headed back out of the trail, by the time I got to my garage I basically had no hand brake at all, brake handle would depress all the way to handlebar. I removed the cap and checked fluid level, it was low but not dry. Checked underneath for fluid leaks or anything broken, no fluid leaks and nothing broken that I can see. I added fluid and still no brakes. Decided to bleed the brakes thinking somehow air got in lines. Bleed brakes for over 2 hours and cannot get brakes at all, brake handle still depresses all the way to handlebar. By the way, this is the hand brake only, foot brake works fine. I am NO mechanic, maybe I am bleeding the brakes wrong or is there possibly something else that could be the problem?? Any suggestions?? I am not on here too often but please leave any suggestions and I will get them as soon as possible. Thanks.

Touring hand grips on a non touring 570 model?

I was comparing the touring 570 and non touring 570 rear rack on the microfiche and they appear to be the same as side from the part numbers are different. Differences aside- does anyone know it the rear hand grips off a touring model will bolt up to a non touring model? Or is there another product out there to mount to my rack for a hand hold? I can’t seem to find anything and have been considering fabricating something…

Sportsman 570 eps won’t start

So my sportsman 570 with eps wont start now. It would turn over then on the speedometer it would flash from the RPMs to Lo and give me a number from 6 to 10. Right now it says 7.2 and i just replaced the battery and it still does it. So now it just starts, flashes the number and the shuts off. Any suggestions would be great.
