Hey all. I am gonna phone my dealer on this as well, but my 2015 570 quits charging if I get it wet. Twice now it has happened. been in water lower than my running boards, get splashing a bit, next thing you know the low battery is coming on. Anyone else have this issue?? I managed to make it home the other night on "Lo". Pulled it up onto the ramps, checked voltage and sure enough, not charging at all. meter showed just under 8 volts then it died on me. This is the second time in 2 weeks. I am going to pull apart some connections and put some di-electric grease on them to see if that helps. But first I am going to see if I can duplicate the problem with a garden hose.

My 3 week old 570 would not start. Jumped with battery charger, got it started but would not stay running, finally I left charger on for an hour, went back and 570 started and ran.
570 is at dealer now, hope it is just a bad battery.
Also, had to get a replacement seat, seat would not secure in front.

Not used to this, I have a 2013 Sportsman 400 HO with no problems ever.

I recently tore my front axle boot. I’m In the process of changing it. Currently it’s off the machine but now I don’t see a clip on the plunge joint side. I can’t figure out how it’s supposed to come apart so I can install the new boot. I’m sure someone here has experience with this so any input would be great. It would even be better if someone has pictures or a video to go with it. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys I wanted to post pictures of the Kolpin Gun Boot 6.0 Part #20020 mounted with Kolpin’s KXP Gun Boot Loop Bracket (Polaris Lock-N-Ride) Part #20033. The setup is pretty sweet and there are only 2 plungers that secure and easily remove the whole system in a minute. The plastic is of great quality and fits snuggle yet with good flexibility in the loop bracket so going over rough terrain is supported. There is a nice thin neoprene cover that your firearm actually sits in and provides a great amount of protection. The only downside is that the muzzle end of the shell does intrude a bit on your right (or left) leg and definitely would me once I have all of my gear on. You certainly couldn’t have a rider on back and their legs go in the same place as yours. I don’t see a great way of being able to angle it away although there is a bit of room you could work with before you get outside the width of the quad. Overall I am very happy as I have about $120 in it as I got a good deal through Cabela’s. Will provide more updates after using this weekend around the hunting club.

So I have a thought on trading in my 570 and getting a rzr 800. Is it worth it? Does it have more get up and go? from what ive seen they didn’t impress me.
Do they have as many problems?

I have been doing alot of night riding lately and it’s a blast, but now I want more light. Don’t get me wrong the stock lights work ok but it would be nice for it to be brighter. I do not want to buy any aftermarket light kits or light bars. Just wondering or there any bulbs out there that I can buy and just replace the stock bulbs with that will give me more light? I have a 15 Sportsman 570.

Question – What is the function of the little vertical rotating knob on the right side of the instrument cluster near where the handlebar enters the cluster?

I’m making my own led bar harness and plan on hooking it up to its own switch, I have the relay and fuse just wondering if any one has the schematic for this, I have searched for it on the net but keep finding several different ways,

Just curious, I noticed a few days after getting the bike that my rear right side wheel had a bit of play in it, like a credit card was pulled out of something and left a bit of play when grabbing the wheel at the top and pushing in/out on it, while the rest were all tight like a tiger.

Tonight, it felt like it was 1 and a half credit cards of play after a quick hard run to the country store and now left side in the rear has play like right one did when new. Is this a normal behavior as the bearing get broken in some?

I don’t mud it but hit the occasional puddle and definitely do not play in the sand.
