Difference in heat shielding 2015 SP vs EPS

Just pulled off the panel on my new 570 EPS and compared it to the other one I bought in March. Strange, because the newer one has LESS panel shielding than the one manufactured almost a year earlier. Again, both 2015s. ???

RED – 2015 570 SP, mfg date of 8/4/14
WHITE (new) – 2015 570 EPS, mfg date of 8/14/15

Liked my first 570 so much that…..

….I just bought another one. Got sick of taking friends out riding here in Colorado. They would ride by 570 SP, and I would ride my 400ex because it’s so much trickier to ride on rocky trails (low clearance). So I pretty much bought this new whitey for friends to use. 🙂

Starter/battery Issue opinions?

My 2015 Sportsman has been flawless with the exception of this one little issue.

At random times for no reason it does this. You put the key in and turn it one click. The console powers up and you hear the EFI whine (whatever that sound is). You then turn the key to start and the starter tries to turn but won’t. When this happens the console powers off and back on again. I’m guessing that the starter being stuck has dropped the battery voltage to the point where the console powers off.

If I repeat this 2-6 times it generally will turn over and start at some point. This weekend it did this a couple times early in the morning loading/unloading and then never again.

Any ideas?

Review so far on my 570

had my 570 for about 7 months now so far it’s been a great machine has good power and rides nice mostly use my for little work around the house and trail riding with friends only thing I don’t really like is the Clunky sounds when u left of the throttle going down a hill, from what iv read its normal just not use to it lol not a big deal only got around 300 miles on it so far so still need rack up a lot more miles to see if it’s gonna be a good machine on down the road anyways I like it so far and got a good deal on it,I like the front storage compartment it’s pretty neat just can’t put too big of stuff in there straps and hatchet stuff like that is fine

My 570 Review

Just got back from Colorado riding around the alpine loop. The 570 with ebs is the only way to go for the steep descents we made. Stock Kenda 590 tires where flawless. The heat from the right side is no worse than the heat I experience from my ultra classic. I rode two up most of the time and even descended and ascended some OMG trails with confidence. I highly recommend the sportsman 570 to everyone who is looking to buy a dependable quad.
