Does anyone clean their 570 after every ride or am I the only crazy one?
There’s no reason for this other than appearance and maybe getting the dirt off the seat and lights, but I clean the whole thing. Even in the wheel wells. Most rides are 40-80 miles so there’s some dust and dirt involved.
Hello..looking over my new 570 and started to try to locate drain plugs and refill plugs.Manual is not much help with drawings and tight picture shots.Where is the spark-plug located and do I need a special funnel with some kind of flexible neck to fill some of those plugs located on the side of the engine? I’m guessing you have to take off a few body panels to get at these things-everything seems buried or hard to reach.
Ahoy, you guys with base model 570s. Do you have an engine braking system? Mine definitely does, but there has been a thread with a little good-natured disagreement on this, as to whether or not they are supposed to. I don’t really know, other than mine does, and my dealer told me they all do. List if yours does, and the year of your machine. We’ll see if there’s a pattern, or if it is simply luck of the draw. To be clear, don’t confuse EBS with ADC (active descent control) That is if you let off your throttle, you will be freewheeling, rather than quickly slowing down if you don’t have EBS.
For the longest time I’ve had problems with this exhaust on the 570. I got sick and tired of my quad dieing when ever my pipe goes under water. So when school started back up I got into shop class and fixed er up! Sounds great and it only cost about $8 worth of car exhaust connectors to build his hope yall enjoy. Will be painting it tomorrow, will update some new pics
There’s just an example of my exhaust problem below, shouldn’t have stalled with it snorkeled
Working a deal on these 2 machines. I can get a new 2014 xp550 eps for $6499 out the door or a 2015 570 eps for the same price. Looking for opinions on better deal. I have a 2010 550eps and a 2015 850sp and really like them a lot. Looking to add a 3rd quad to upgrade my son from a Phoenix 200 to a full size. He is 13 and about 125LBS and has ridden since he was about 5.
Rode the past 3 days and machine ran GREAT. Put on 104 miles one day and parked it for the night. Next morning, she turned over fine but would not fire….. it kind of fired for a little bit and to start it, I had to touch the throttle which I found weird for an EFI. But, it started and ran flawlessly all day… put on 116 miles.
Next morning, it would only turn over and NOT fire at all, just turn over like normal.
I pushed it on trailer and got home with no time to look into battery, plug, etc.
I was wondering if anyone had an idea where I should look to start. is it possibly a bad battery that turns it over fine but not enough power to spark??

Just bought my 2015 EPS model. I’ve taken it down the street once or twice and let it idle for about 15 mins, but other than that I’ll be taking it out this weekend for a little mild trail riding and mud / sand. I’ve obviously read quite a bit about the 570 so far and I’m curious to see about this heat issue. Maybe I’ll get lucky?
Anything I should look for or notice or do’s / dont’s? I guess I should just ride it a bit (not too hard) but get on the throttle a little hear and there to let it heat up? Will I notice right away if I’m going to have a leg and ass burning machine? Really curious to see. Right now in Texas it’s been kind of nice, low 80s for the high! Haha. I don’t have any desire to ride an ATV in the 90’s temperature.
Looking for a decent rear bag for 2015 Polaris sportsman 570. Don’t need an expensive one necessarily, just decent quality, roomy, semi rigid, that fits inside the rear rack and has the classic "U" shape with pockets at the sides as well. Picture attached is just an example of what i am looking for. The ability to adjust the partitions in the rear compartment would be nice.
My 2015 570 quits charging when it gets wet. The dealer figured it was the voltage regulator and sent me out a new one. I changed it the other day, went thru a mud puddle today and it quit charging again. Anybody have any ideas? I am going to phone the dealer again tomorrow on it and see what they think
