So I bought the 570ps for my wife, how ever it’s a stiff sob. The sp has the upgraded suspension with dual A-arms but it’s too stiff. I have the adjustments on the springs all the way down. Is their a way to adjust it softer?

Torn between Maxxis Zilla and Outlaw 2’s for my 570. Anywhere from 27" to 30" going to be buying new rims as well, should I go 14" or 12" id like to hear your opinions. I ride trails with quite a few mud patches, logs and rocks. Between trails is somewhat high speed open dirt roads. I still like to break loose every now and then around corners and stuff. What do y’all think? I’m new to the ATV world and would like to know pros and cons of each tire/rim setup.

Yes I will be installing a QSC clutch kit after the tires are purchased.

Which set-up would be best with stock axles? not in my budget just yet.

well i went for a ride today with the old man.
i have a 2015 sportsman 570 (brand new) i used it on my property, worked flawless.
my father rides a 2002 bombardier quest 500.
we went for a 67 miles ride today. the first half of the trip was some fairly open trails with a quite a bit of rocks and a few puddles. it was pretty cold (-6C) in the morning.
second half was a logging road. so pretty much wide open gravel road.
the machine is awesome! TONS of power (break in wasn’t done so i couldn’t go in wide open trottle) the ride was super plush! i dont have the power steering but the rocks and the bumps didn’t bother me at all.

MY EXHAUST NEVER FELT HOT! we rode for 2-3 hours with with speed from 10 to 40 miles per hour. bike is still new but still.

heres my few complaints tho. when i let the trottle go or hit it… i can here the clutches.
there a piece of thin foil that fell from the right side of my leg???

i also noticed there a lot of squeaks coming from the front end. mostly when the bike wasn’t running

hey guys-does any one have a loose and rattling air box cover.My 570 is 2 months old with 15 hours on it.Checked the air filter unit and removed the air box and air intake snorkel and when I re-installed– it now rattles under the plastic gas tank cowel-the front of the seat is now loose and sticks up a bit-I guess this is normal, fit to finish on this thing leaves something to be desired.I love my bike and want to learn about these little kinks.

A while back I asked for any suggestions of a rear seat that would work with the rack extenders installed. Nada. So I just had to take a chance. Bought the Quadboss rest-n-store passenger seat (that says "no passengers" on it for the lawyers). And…..it works with the rack extenders! Game ON, passengers.

I have a 2014 570 Touring with 1500 miles on it. Seems like a good time to start checking the condition of the drive belt to make sure it is still in good condition. Doesn’t it seem like there ought to be a little window on the belt-clutch cover so that you can do a quick check? Instead I have to do the bigger operation and remove the cover to check it out. Kind of makes you want to ignore the belt until you are having trouble with it.

Do other owners ever check the condition of the belt or just wait until it starts to act up? How long should I expect it to last? I know it’s based on a lot of parameters about how you ride but is there a ballpark figure?

Just a quick question…

The factory battery died on mine this week at the worst possible time..after towing the ATV four hours to a trailhead for a three day ride. Jumped it and got it running each day but didn’t turn the engine off until the end of the day. Really had to convince my wife that it wouldn’t strand us in the middle of nowhere. Mostly I lied. 🙂 The factory battery gave no indication that it was going to fail. It was strong starting the ATV just before we left.

Anyway, the quick question is: When I remove the factory battery to replace it, will the computer forget things like total operating hours, mileage, hours till service, etc.? Is there anything that I have to reset once the new battery is installed? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Anybody have a pictures of an Eagle plow utilizing the mid frame mount on their 2014 or 2015 570?

I kept my Eagle push tubes and blade from my 02 and just need the frame mount. I called Eagle and they stated the 15s are different than the 14s. I would like to see the pictures of the front frame section near the battery on a 14 to see if my 15 is different. I may try ordering the 14 mount and see if it can be modified/or if there really isn’t a difference.
