Just got a Sportsman 570 this year, and need to set it up for ice fishing. what are you guys doing and/or finding to help?

Has anyone used the new OTB Check Tech tool? It’s used like digital wrench in regards to reading/clearing fault codes, monitoring engine/sensor data, etc. Looks pretty slick.

I had started out looking for a simple TPS cable used for setting the voltage with a DMM and stumbled onto this. I figure it’ll work fine for that as well as monitoring the rest of the sensor performance in the future.

It’s on sale this month, so ordered a kit to play around with. I’ll do a full writeup with screenshots, etc once it gets here if people are interested.

PS – I’m also planning on getting the Dobeck AFR+ Gen4 fuel controller soon, so I’ll share those experiences as well. I already have wideband monitoring capability, so first up will be obtaining baseline measurements. Then I’ll move onto an aftermarket exhaust of some sort..

Well my stator brokw in my 14 sportsman 570.
One from dealer is $500 or more. Does anyone know of an after market company that makes any??? -thanks

Bought a Viper Max winch to install on my 15 570. I guess the bike is pre-wired for the Polaris winch and it has a connector up on the left handlebar and a connector down in front of the differential. I wonder if I can splice in my Viper controller top and bottom and use the factory wiring?

Any one done this?

Had some heavy metal scraps around the shop, and an old hitch mount for a winch. Cut and welded them for up for weight in the rear for plowing this winter. Weighs in at exactly 99.5 lbs. Perfect.

I am looking for a gun scabbard mount for my 570, I am currently using the rino universal clamps in the rear lock and ride holes, its secure, but i keep my gun in the storage bag cause i dont want it blasted with dirt and water etc, also its not very fast to retreive if I ever happen across an animal. Has anyone tried the Kolpin bracket? Any other suggestions? Please keep in mind, I am Canadian and have access to about 10% of the cool accessories that most Americans can get and it’s a lot more cash here 🙁 Thank you in advance. This is the Kolpin,

Curious if this bumper will mount up to 2015 570? I know they fit the 2014’s, not sure if things changed or not. Thanks

I had months of having the intermittent issue of turning key multiple times to get engine to crank over(felt like weak battery or engine caught on tdc). After 3 batteries and 2 trips to dealer and no luck fixing issue I ended up getting used starter off Ebay. Starter came off of a 2015 ace 570 part #4013015 made by mitsuba. My stock starter was part#4014909 made by Lucas-tvs. The new mitsuba starter cranks waaay harder and faster than my stock Lucas ever did. So far I have not had any problems with engine cranking over. I’m not saying one starter is better than the other in all cases , but my stock Lucas-tvs was a dud. Hopes this helps others having similar issues.
