my 14 scrammy 850 has over 2200 miles and noticed some loose in the front prop shaft joints and a bit in the rear driveshaft is there anything other than oem joints available im hoping for greasable joints but doesnt seem like much room for a grease zerk! and how hard is it to punch the spring pin out on the front shaft?

Getting close to 11000 miles on the 550
Sitting at 10600 right now and have a good ride coming up in a week. Since I fixed the valves at 6500 miles for the 3rd time it has been running good. The A Arm bushing have a lot of miles on them and they are holding up very well also. Thanks to John he has made things a lot easier for a lot of us. Getting close to needing some new tires since the Terra Cross tires have a lot of miles on them and they have some pretty soft rubber. Not going to get anything expensive since it is my backup machine to the 570. Uses a little oil but I can deal with that. I have been through a good many ball joints, brakes and a few sets of bearings. If I would have not had the valve problems this would have been another good machine but the valve problem kinda takes away from it. I still like to ride it and I still think the XP platform is a good one. Polaris just needs to improve some things on it like getting away from 14 inch rims and upgrading the bushings. By the time they do that it will be a new design.

sportsman v scrambler
I am now looking between a sportsman 850 and a scrambler 850. I understand that storage is my biggest loss going to the scrammy but what are really my major differences and benefits to spending the extra money?

Engine upgrades
I know this has been asked before, but maybe some new stuff is out now. My timing gear spun, So engine needs to be torn down. Any big bore or stroker kits available? high compression pistons?
utilizing reverse overide as start button?
anyone know how to do this on a 2015 850 scram?
I want to take my reverse over ride button and turn it into a push button start. Meaning key would turn ignition power on. But the button would actually start the machine.
Secondary Helix Questions
I went over to a friends house yesterday for some clutch work. We both race our Scramblers in local XC races. He had an assortment of springs and weights from tuning his and others and we played with mine for several hours and it is so much better and faster that I will now have to relearn how to ride. It will pull the front end with ease and the shiftout is near perfect at around 7120 rpms. I took it around his XC track on his land and it will really scoot now, problem is the backshifting. It didn’t bother me that the clutch backshifted to idle with the stock clutch, but with the new setup it is very annoying. He runs an STM secondary and his doesn’t back shift like the stock secondary. I’d like to change the helix on the stock secondary to something like an STM helix. I’ve been searching around the internet for a couple hours now and don’t really see that as an option, but would think it would be.
So, who makes a replacement helix for the stock Team secondary?
What is/are the angles on the stock helix? (’13 Scrambler)
My buddy runs a 45 degree helix, but figures I need something like a 40 degree helix because of my weight. Any input would be appreciated.

1000 scrambler revs fine in park but runs one one cylinder in gear???????
So i have a 2014 1000 scrambler, was working fine.. Now in gear it will only go like 70 km, idles around fine, revs in gear fine, but as soon as you try to floor it, its dien for power and running on one cylinder, almost seems like theres some sort of limiter or limp mode of some sort, any suggestions would be gear, took it to the dealer and no codes are comming up, anything would be a help thanks!
