Nothing seems to be going right with my superatv products. I now found out why I blew my front diff s few weeks ago. One of my rhino axles binds in the front. This was happening with no lift. Rebuilt the diff with harden aluminum sprague, bearings and seals from All Balls Racing and a oem armature.
Anyways, the ip diff is turning freely and seems to be working fine until I put on my one axles with my new 2" lift. Binds right away. Brand new axles too. Can’t get the reservoir on my rear shocks to clear the new rear a-arms.
Ok so I finally got to open the 1000 up a bit and around 62mph it starts to cut out like a rev limiter . I checked the rpm and I am at 7500, dealer told me limited is at 7600. I can get the machine to about 70 at half throttle but that’s it but I have tons of throttle left !! Least a half inch to pin it and she wants to pull for more speed but it starts cutting out. 100 percent stock but I am at 5k feet elevation does this have to do with clutching and maybe mines not set for high altitude?
I figure I would be able to floor it non stop and it would just stop at a certain rpm not just sit there and sputter ? Any one else with these issues or is your machine able to be pinned non stop ? I have to back mine down to around half throttle for it to stay at 7500 according to the tach that is any way.
Radiator Relocation Kit for Polaris Scrambler 850/1000 for sale
Black cover
Never open… Still in the box… I sold the wheeler and they don’t except refunds and the guy that bought scrambler..he didn’t want it …it’s the black one
I have a speedwerx hot seat single slip on a qscclutch kit a snorkel and the ngk iridium spark plugs wondering if any has worked out a map for afr with similar mods i dont like the stock map it does feel like it runs quite right. let me know what you guys are programming.
Received my 1KScram on Saturday, absolutely am blown away with its ride and power. Looking forward to dialing in the suspension.
But…the steering stem bushing has a bit of squish/play and it really doesn’t feel right, especially on a machine north of 12K.
my son’s 570 has this too but to a much less extent, perhaps 25% of the wiggle.
I checked the bushing and sure enough it moves/wiggles…not side to side but fore/aft.
Are all the Scramblers/Sportsman models experiencing this? My buddies Sportsman 1000 does not have this at all…it’s solid. Mine…feels cheap.
Does Polaris have different part numbers for these bushings or did I just get a Friday/Monday part?
So I bought a new 2014 scrambler 1000 back in January. I have roughly 400 miles on it. We took a trip to West Virginia this past weekend and i ran into a little problem… We rode about 60 miles the first day and i had no issues. On the second day after about 50 miles of riding it started to put itself in low range without me shifting to low. Whenever i would slow down (and it would go into neutral), then hit the throttle and feel the "click" back into gear, it would act like it is in low range. 75% of the time when this happened I would stop and let it go back into neutral and it would go back to normal until i slowed down again. I’m also thinking it could have been a heat problem too (even though no warning lights were on), as later that evening I hit some deep mudholes and creeks and didn’t have any more problems on the ride back to the cabin. Anyone know what might have been going on?? All in all had a great trip and will be planning another trip back to WV soon.
