Trouble with Sportsman wheels

I put those Sportsman wheels on my son’s Ace and wish I hadn’t. When I first swapped out the stock wheels, the studs seemed a little short but I put on the wheels. Tightened them up and took it for a short ride. No good, the lug nuts started popping off.

I bought longer Polaris OEM studs, I think they come on the Ranger, installed those on 2 of the wheels and bought new lug nuts. The little bit of extra length helps a bunch but now it feels like on one wheel the nuts won’t clamp down. The studs are not spinning. Seems like I’ll tighten one lug, go to the one across from it and tighten it then go to the 3rd lug, tighten it, go back to the first one to check it and it’s loose again.

The hubs on the sportsman have a little lip that goes around. The factory wheel cutout where the wheel sits on the hub fits this lip but with these Sportsman wheels it seems that the wheel is just riding on the top edge of the lip and not fully resting on the hub. Not sure if I should just cut my losses and go back or spend more money on some cheap aftermarket wheels.

Anyone else have this problem with different wheels on the Ace?

Displays Lo 10.8

We have the Polaris 570 Ace purchased in December and have about 50 miles on it, we rode this weekend and after about 30 minutes of riding the "Lo 10.8" starting flashing and the voltage dropped all the way down to 7.4 then died, I charged the battery for a couple of hours and all was good till the next day we rode for about 30 minutes and it happened all over again, I checked battery connections and traced wires as far as I could but wasn’t for sure what to look for, anyone run in to this problem? Any ideas would be much appriciated.

Sportsman wheels on ACE, not a direct bolt on

I bought some used Sportsman 570 deluxe wheels and put them on our ACE. They look a heck of a lot better, are 1" taller, have a wider rear tire, and the price was great. I was sorta disappointed though that the center caps won’t fit. The spindle I guess sticks out a tiny bit further than the Sportsman. I need maybe 1/8" of spacing to make it work. It surprises me they didn’t work right away, isn’t the ACE based on the Sportsman? Wondering if others ran into this?

I’m not willing to pay $100 for spacers and hesitant to put a few washers on there to space it out. Any other ideas? Does anyone make a very narrow spacer?

Ace ????

looking at buying an ace for my 9 yr old…my question is th price diff between the 570 and the 325 worth the xtra $$$$ pros and cons of both machines.

By the way he cut his teeth on atvs hes been riding since he was able to get his legs over the seats so riding experience is not a worry for me. he currently has the 170 just wanting something bigger so he can follow me by himself I always let him drive when its just me and him riding that way I can enjoy the scenery and relax…lol
