Accessorized my 900SP

I got some really good deals from my dealer on accessories and took advantage of that. One of my priorities was new wheels and tires. NH and Maine deep wood trails are loaded with sharp ledge and pointy tree roots that will shred a OEM sidewall, so something rugged in that department was needed. I ended up with Polaris REBLR beadlocks and ProArmor Attack 26" tires.

Between removing the rear anti-sway and the addition of the new wheel/tire package, these alone have made a big improvement to comfort and how fast I can move over bumps. I weighed the new tires vs the OEM tires and overall they added 75 pounds total unsprung weight. Only time it is noticeable is on take off from idle…and just barely at that.

Except for the side mirrors which came from Cabela’s, everything else is Popo. The side door extensions left a lot to be desired. Fit was pretty bad :rm_thumbdown: The plastic is too brittle as well. When I installed them it had been @ 45-50*f and had not been below freezing. The plastic cracked while shutting the left side door in one spot. I don’t expect them to last the winter. And even with some little adjustment at the hinges, neither side fit quite right. Having been around performance off road motorcycles and quads all my life and never seen as poor quality and fit as these expensive doors made by Polaris for their own vehicle. I’ve had some questionable aftermarket parts, but never had any problems with Brand named bolt ons. Until now.

Put the door issues aside, I still love this machine.

I still have yet to install my Desertcraft seat springs and 4way harness. Hopefully I will this weekend.

A few parking lot pics taken before my Xmas Day ride yesterday. Usually @ 30*f here in NH this time of year. But yesterday it was close to 70*f. I want snow.

Now at 56" wide at the rear wheels. Was a tight squeeze at a couple of the gates.
