New here needs some advice

Hi everyone I’m new here haven’t had a lot Of time to browse around yet so I’m sure there are threads on this already. Anyhow just picked up a 2006 TRX450R and I want to start upgrading. Looking at what I consider the basics first, intake rejet, and exhaust. My questions are.. What is a winning combination? As well as bang for buck? All opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can’t shift please help!!!

Hello all,

This is my first post and I’m hoping you all can help.
I have a 2014 rancher 420, I installed a epi preformance cluch kit.
Got everything back together and now it will not shift.
I can hear the shift motor try however no movement into gear.
I have tried to shift manually with the tool provided and still nothing.
Any ideas or common problems that anyone has heard of?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Question about aftermarket exhaust

My girlfriend has a 2007 rancher 420, something in the exhaust is broken and makes a terrible rattling noise, I would like to get her a Hmf pipe for her upcoming birthday but I’m worried it will harm her motor over time, my question is do I need to get anything else (better air filter, programmer) to keep the quad running good? Not looking to gain power or anything, just tired of the rattling noise,

Another question:

I have a 2004 foreman 450 with a bore kit in it, and all the head studs have been heli-coiled as the previous owner pulled them out somehow, I would like to do exhaust, and jets, intake is done already, but I’m worried that putting more power will rip out the studs again. My question is will putting a bit more power into her run the risk of pulling heli-coiled head studs out?

Thank you for any and all advice.

07 400ex front suspension questions

I got my frame swaped over and everything all back togeather and was riding it last weekend and here are a few things i noticed i want to get working alittle better. Here is my set up so far. Stock a-arms, tcs triple rate front shocks(jet rebuilt) set up for a 180 lbs rider and trail riding which is about all i do. I was having some issues when cornering with the front end pushing on me more or less the rear wheels were making the front end go straight. So i tryed leaning forward more to put more weight on the front and then the rear end passed me. That being said the rear end for some reason is about 2 inches wider then the front on each side maybe rim offset? Which i think explains my issues(100% sure its a stock rear axle). So im looking in to doing a +2 +1 front end.

My options in my budget are
1. Full flight
2. Alba

The trails i ride arent skinny so adding the width isnt an issue at all. But i havent seen any feedback on full flight a-arms at all. And i have alot of team alba things on my quad but im unsure on the conversion they have to make them work for stock length shocks or LT. One other odd thing is my tcs shocks are about an inch longer eye to eye then stock 400ex shocks. Maybe they are supposed to be on a +2 front end? From what i have seen and heard they arent long travel for sure cuz those are like 18 inches or more eye to eye. Any info anyone has or advice is welcome! Thanks everyone!
