Replacement Shocks for 2008 Outy 400

I purchased a used 2008 Outlander 400 for my wife last year. I noticed the suspension was pretty soft and sags significantly in the rear. I tried to adjust the rear shocks and couldn’t get it to budge, even with the rear jacked off the ground. I wanted to upgrade the shocks on my 2007 Outlander 800 XT Max to possibly Elka Stage 1’s and was thinking of putting the shocks from the 800 on to the 400. Does anyone know if this can be done, if so how, and if not what do you recommend for a replacement. I would prefer to go aftermarket as opposed to stock replacements. Thanks in advance for your help! :aniwheeler6:

Bad machine no doubt. I always wanted one. Best of the best. Now that I have one, not so sure about the best. The brakes are junk. 1 MPH down a mountain. Used brakes a handful of times. They were gone. Right rie rod bent while on a trail. Let’s just say I didn’t go back with OEM. Just found out I’m on a 3 ply tire. Gross! What’s next? I ride Windrock and Royal Blue in East Tennessee. I still love my quad though. Next time I’ll buy a Honda. Power to weight ratio… They last forever. Ok, go ahead and trash me💥🔫
