Hi everyone!
I have Grizzly 700 in camo that I bought last April. Bought it new from Yamaha dealer. Have never owned ATV before so I am new to them. I love outdoors so I bought 10 acres of land that came with the house 🙂 I hunt, fish and backpack. Backpacking part happens in Adirondack Mountains. My dream that one day I would like to move to Alaska with my family.
So I thought ATV is good addition to my activities. I heat my house with the wood so I mostly use my Grizzly for hauling firewood for now. Planning to use it for a black bear hunt in Adirondacks in couple of weeks. Unfortunately starting to have some problems with battery I think. But about that in different part of the forum.

Hello! I’m new here but not to Yamaha, 4×4 quads or efi big bore quads. Right now I have a 01 wolverine 350 that I’ve had for 11 years now, I’m planning on retiring her in a year or so and getting a grizzly 700. I also have an 06 YZ450f that I’ve made street legal and put 17" super moto wheels/ tires. I had a raptor 700r that was all done up but I traded it for the YZ450f 2 years ago since I was looking to make a change but since I have 2 kids now and it’s harder to get out by myself so it’s about time to upgrade the 350 to a 700.

New member near Ottawa Ontario – Grizzly 700

Hey everyone,

Just recently bought a spankin’ new ’15 Grizzly 700 SE2 (Black) for a ridiculously low clearout price. I’m a sucker for deals that are too good to pass up, so, I’m a proud new owner.

I live around Ottawa, Ontario and have mostly driven dirt bikes and motorcycles, but have always wanted an ATV. Living out in the country and seeing this deal, it was time.

I also jump out of planes and do other adrenaline based activities, but as I get older I’m slowing down a little and the ATV fills more of the time that I still don’t have.

Anyways, hope to spend a bunch of time here over the winter!

Thanks!

new memeber new 2016 grizzly le

Just brought home a 2016 grizzly LE today. Had enough of my 2014 sportsman 800, first problem suspension springs sagged big time added high lifter hd springs, next problem I added 27" zillas then axles started popping so I got aftermarket axles, next problem axle pulled out of housing and wrecked minimum the new axle right in the middle of hunting season.
I originally wanted a polaris ranger or a outlander 1k, but i ended up shooting a moose a few days ago and i had to borrow a ATV to pull it out and it made me think a polaris ranger wouldnt of been able to get it into the bush where the moose was and I need something reliable for situations like that so there goes the can am. So I ended up with the grizzly because of the reliability of the beast i keep hearing about, the diff lock, and local dealership

New to site, new to quads!

Newby here from the beautiful hills of Tennessee, just picked up my first quad (never actually even sat on one untill last week!) a 2000 Grizzly 600 with 1,500 miles (it was cheap).
Been "exterminating" wild hogs on the farm and finally figured out that a quad would make dragging them out of the woods (and up-hill) a lot easier!

I do have a question, the machine has aftermarket chrome wheels and oversized tires (ITP Blackwater XTs in 27×10-12 & 27×12-12) that have some wear on the fronts (rears look new). Since I won’t be mudding and the hills are steep and wooded, would I be better off to replace the tires with the original 25s with a less mud grip tread?

Looking forward to making some trails in the woods!
