2016 Grizzly EPS Rochester, NY

HI guys and gals
I ordered my new Grizz the day Yamaha announced it on June 9 and have been riding it for three weeks. Just pulled the stock tires and rims (26) off to put on ITP TERRACROSS radial. STOCK TIRES AND RIMS FOR SALE.

I came off a Grizz 550 2012 and put 2000 miles on it, and before that had two 450’s all brand new. The 2016 is NOT the Kodiak in any way in person. I have compared em side by side and in print. The base model is aswesome for the price though. Make no mistake, the GRIZZLY is the KING here. I could go on, but you guys are the pros at figuring that out.

hello everyone new to the forum

How’s it going everybody. My names jeremy I live in saginaw tx and I own a 2007 grizzly 450. I bought it new back in 07 to use for hunting, and ranching. But I am now thinking about using it for mud bogging and just having fun. If anybody knows of some good mods to put on my 450 to get it ready for bogging it would greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time,
Jeremy

New to grizzlycentral.

Hello everyone! My name is Jim Schupp and I live in Indiana. I purchased a 1998 grizzly 600 this year and looking for a place to discuss issues with like minded yamaha fans. My griz has problems and I am looking for advice and help to get my mean machine running top notch. I am looking forward to reading/making posts. I will read already made posts to find my answers, but will be asking questions too. This is my first quad and I am proud to have it, despite the knocking noise going on.

G’day from Australia

As the title says, G’day all.

Just got my 2004 660 going, been a bit of a labour of love but winning the war so far, not to mention a few lost battles on the way as well.
My quad will mainly be used for hunting – well getting to and from deer hunting areas anyway.

Have found a wealth of info on here that has helped to educate me on parts and interchangeability of parts – so thanks.

Hey! I’m new to the forum and the Grizzly world. I’ve read forums on the site for quite a while now while trying to decide if I wanted a Grizzly or not.

I finally got me one. It’s a 2011, in great shape. I used to ride a lot back in high school and have a bunch of buddies now that ride all over NC all the time. They all have Brute Forces and Can-Ams, but I’ve always been drawn to the Grizzlies for some reason. I also have a few coworkers that like to take trips and ride in West Virginia.

Like I said before, I’m just now getting back into riding and I’m new to the Grizzlies, but I’m excited and looking forward to riding and playing on this thing!

Hello from Ontario Canada!

Hey guys

First off, great forum. I’ve spent hours browsing the many threads and have found it very useful (and comical at times)

Here’s my story…

Last year I bought my first quad (Foreman 450ES) to plow my lane way and a rink on the river behind my house. The foreman was perfect….or so I thought. It seemed I started a trend with my family/friends and now we have our own little atv group and I found myself riding a lot. Especially during the winter.

We did our first atv trip (five points trail-bobcaygeon) and it was a blast. Foreman did great and held up well. I did not. I felt like I got my ass kicked, ass was raw, arms like rubber, and back ached for days. The foreman is a work horse but I’m now using it more for recreation and less for work. The rough ride and slow top end leave me no choice…time for an upgrade!

I’m now looking for a Grizzly 700. I checked out the new 2016 today and it’s pretty sharp. My dealer got two on Friday and one is already sold. He also has two new 2015’s coming in soon for $1100 less than a 2016. There’s also a strong used market around here. I guess I’m seeking some input/guidance before I buy. My buddy has an 09 Grizzly 550. He rolled it twice on our trip. I’ve read the older ones are tippy. Are the 2014/15’s more stable as they’re advertised? Are any of you skeptical on buying a new model as soon as it comes out? In the used market, what is the best year of the grizzly? I’d love some riding comparisons of older grizzlys vs the new 2016 if anyone has one.

To my fellow Ontarians, can any of you recommend some good trail systems. We planning a fall trip and looking for an advanced trail system to ride.

Sorry for the long story, and thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Darren
