My New 2015 RZR 900 XC
Hi Everyone, Living in Colorado 45 years, now 75 years old. Many years off-road motorcycling all over the mountains, primarily the old mining areas. Also started ATV’ing in 1998. This year decided too old for M/C off-roading so bought 2015 900 XC and outfitted the way I desired. Complete doors with bags on the inside, F/R full bumpers, Polaris 3 position windshield, made my own insulated Al diamond plate insulated roof, home made winch mount and spare tire carrier…much better that any aftermarket. Additional LED lights F/R, COB LED running lights on A pillers. B/U camera etc. Already have about 500 miles on it. Mostly the San Juan and San Isabel Mountain mining areas. What a dream machine. Did not like too much heat in cockpit so I insulated both sides of firewall and behind seats with 3/4" aluminum foil backed foam insulation. Added additional vents to hood to allow heat from radiator to escape.
Now cockpit is somewhat cooler under heavy foot on throttle when climbing steep grades and extreme "rock crawling".
Boles; Larkspur, Colorado

I purchased my second RZR (2016 RZR4 900) 2 months ago and already have 600+ miles on it. My family and I are very lucky in being able to take off from the house and ride all over the Uintah Basin here in NE Utah. I look forward to sharing my rides and experiences on the Forum.
P.S. I am from Utah but only have 1 wife! :rofl3:

Hello I am not to sure what to put in here. But I am a prospective RZR buyer and looking to learn the tips and tricks to ownership. and hopefully find advice on buying a used RZR!
Ive got my eyes on a 2012 800s with 750 miles.
I dont have a clue really what to look for when buying a used RZR. do they have any common issues? specific wear points?
and most importantly is there anything that i can see/hear/feel when loking at a used RZR that should worry me or be a reason not to buy?
750 miles seems low enough that it could have been abused pretty good but not be "to late" to buy it and not expect major issues?
