2013 rancher AT IRS
stock 24×8-12 front
rear 24×10-11
I was looking at these tires and I was wondering if they would work ok ? Would they be to heavy ? Or to large ? I push snow and ice fish. When I go fishing I pull a large three man sled power auger and gear and sometimes another person.
Hi my name is Dan and this is my first posting here! read a lot of your threads but never had to post to ask anything.
I was wondering if there is a way to bypass the neutral safety switch.. (ill give you some back story)
I was having problems with my shifting and I know its probably the shift solenoid and/or angle sensor.. well I had it to where I would just shift it into third and put around the property to check on stuff. about a week ago I shifted it into 3rd manually and when I went to shift back down I felt it give and snap.. pretty sure I snapped the shift rod… what I am wondering is if there is a way to bypass the neutral safety to just start it in 3rd (even pull start would be fine) but I know it wont fire without being in neutral. any help would be appreciated and I’m not willing to dump a bunch of money into it when I got it with a busted frame and not shifting for $100.. I welded the frame and just shifted manually.
Just bolted up a HighLifter 2" lift on the Rancher in my signature. Went for a short ride and noticed a pop everynow and then coming from the rear. Actually sounds like its next to my left foot.
With the rear wheels jacked up I have about from 12:00 to 1:00 in play in the driveline. Roughly 30°.
How tight should the driveline be and do the 350s have a certain problem like the old 300s with rear diffs? This quad has 120hrs of hard mud riding with bigger tires.
Going to pull the diff oil fill cover and see if the play is in the axle to ring gear. Then try to finagle the boot around on the swingarm to see if the play is there.
Now if the popping is the u joint hitting the swingarm, will take the rear lift off. But my concern is to find the play, if its excessive?
Can anyone verify if the new 2015 Rancher IRS ATV’s come with 12" rear wheels in black? Might be looking at getting some factory take off and open my choices in tire size.
I just ordered some 25" tires and ordered 12" for the rear wheels and mine are 11". Simply overlooked on my part. Instead of returning entire set for the the factory 24" size I am looking to a cheap alternative of buying 2 rear wheels. I was curious if the 2 front wheels size 12" would work on the back? OR maybe another ATV wheel that will work on the back of the IRS with a size 12 rim. Any help or pictures are appreciated.
im near 600 miles and im starting to hear my valves tick.is it easy on these engines?ive always worked on my own engines but I have a king quad that’s a pain to do the valves

we replaced the clutch and we arent sure of the position of the reduction gears, we can get it to shift to neutral,1st,2nd,3rd, but no 4th or 5th, any help would be great
Newbie here…
Just purchased a 2015 Rancher 4×4 and I’m preparing for the first oil change. The manual says either 10w30 or 10w40. Any thoughts on which I should use? The dealer suggested 10/40, but when I read the manual it seems Honda wants the 10/30. Thoughts? I already have 10/40 Honda G4, but I can exchange it.
