2007 Honda Rancher 420 ES. Replaced the paw thinking that was slipping but seems to be the shifter rod. I was thinking of welding the paw to the rod. What’s my best soultion? How is the rod replaced? Tear down?? Thanks
I am looking to get a Honda Foreman and was curious where you all felt would be the best place to get one. I live in GA so proximity helps. I have been in talks with Southern Honda but not sure when the sale on Foremans are going to start of if they ever are.
What’s the cheapest you all have seen the Foremans for? Looking for 4×4 and that is it.
i have purchased a 2008 honda rancher 420 with foot shifter on left side. it is hard to shift the lever, almost impossible. i have to shut the motor off, shift into neutral each time to go to any gear. running, no shift.off, shifts easy as pie. the idle speed is correct.i changed oil with no difference noted. . I have searched everywhere for information, but haven’t found much at all. any help or information would be much appreciated.

I have a 2007 Honda rancher 420 Es 4×4. It’s been sitting up for the last 3 years. And decided to get it running again, I put a new battery, starter solenoid, fuel pump, fuel line, fuel injector, new oil and oil filer, it cranks right up runs good but blowing white smoke like crazy, my dad seems to think it just needs to be ran but with the amount of white smoke it is smoking I think something has to be wrong with it, please help, new to the forums
So I have noticed the last couple weeks when going deer hunting that if I kill my 420 in gear and restart it without going back to neutral it will stutter and die when I try to give it throttle. If I shift back to neutral either before or after I start it but before trying to move it works as normal. Has anyone seen/heard of a similar issue?
This summer I replaced the battery on my Rancher. After that the display only reads Kilometers and the odometer shows 9999999. Is this common? Can it be reset? Thanks, I love the help you get on these forums.
Last week I was letting my kids friend ride the rancher. It died on him. When trying to start it it sounded very tingy. Long story short the oil drained out of the engine while he was riding it.
I changed the oil and filter and restarted it. It runs but it sounds a little ticky. Also, it seems to have not as much power.
My friend suggests the top end probably needs rebuilt. Can I please get some advice from you all? Where should I start?
