Hey everyone im new to this site, and i have a question about snorkeling my 09 grizzly 550, what do i all have to seal up on it so i can go up to the handles without flooding it or causing damage to it? Im just about done snorkeling the cvt before it started raining, im using a 3inch-1.5inch pvc reducer then 1.5inch all the way up to the plastic infront of the handle bars, and im doing the 2-1.5 inch intakes, and 1 more question, were should i put the breather tubes? In the snorkel itself? And theres a tube that goes from gas tank to a little device (need to no what that is i havnt see it on any of my older bikes) down to what i assume is a funnel down to the ground.
So the questions are -what do i seal
-were to pit breathers
-what is the little device off the gas breather
Thanks for your replies in advance your really helping me out

I have a 2011 grizzly 700 efi (no power steering). It has the hi lifter springs and 26" itp mudlites on itp ss wheels. It noticeably wobbles at speeds over 30 mph and seems to get worse the faster i go….do the tires just need balancing or could it b something else? Thanks!
Hey folks I’m new here and need some advice. Had an annoying rattle turns out a piece behind the arrestor broke apart. I’m not an exhaust guy and not even sure how the configuration is supposed to work. I pulled the broken piece out but will probably break more not sure if this is necessary to get fixed back to normal or not. Please share

When I move the shifter through R-N-HR-LR (Reverse, Neutral, High Range, Low Range), only HR is "missing." This includes doing the same by moving the shift arm directly (linkage disconnected). LR selects in both the LR and HR positions. Do I have to split the case on this perfectly good condition engine?
I’m going to change out my radiator fluid in the 2010 550 Griz. I’m in northern Michigan. It has just over 1000 miles and 88hrs on it. It currently has the blue Yamaha cooling fluid in it.
I’ve been going thru the old threads researching what type of replacement fluid to use. I’ve seen alot discussion about the Engine Ice, the Water Wetter and the Hypo cooling fluid at Walmart. Many of those threads were several years old. Now that many of you have been using these different fluids and put some miles on them, what is the consensus in 2015?
The manual says to use a high quality 1:1 fluid (like Prestone 50/50). I don’t mind buying the other stuff if it is worth it.
Working on friends grizzly that sat for years. I pull the plug to see if its getting spark, have to jumb across the solenoid and it will turn over, but the (new) plug only fires one single time and only just as I let of. The reverse handle is froze so I cant shift it to park but unpluged the plugerbynthe left handle and still nothing. Any ideas?
