00 grizzly 600 no spark hot
i’ve read through the threads and dont see the issue i have,
i first noticed last winter plowing snow and after some time it would die and not restart until cool "no spark", this last weekend we took my grizz and wife’s polaris to the hills I first took the grizz up to check out the area, come back down got the wife doubled up to show she could do it also, on the way back I turned on the fan was running hot and later the grizz died and had to tow it back would not restart till next morning, just loaded back up and used polaris all weekend.
my issue after runs at a heated temp for a short time i have no spark. could the stator be breaking down hot ? im also thinking adding a 2nd fan blowing on jug for slower trail rides, my grizz runs great other wise on short rides around our 2 acres

Wheel bearings. Kawasaki part #change!
Maybe this has been mentioned recently but the common part number I see for the Kawasaki bearing is 92045-0123. This has now changed!
The new part number is 92045-0800.
Finally have a bit of play in my front bearing after 9000+ hard kms. Local Yamaha dealer wanted about $80 for OEM replacement, or a fraction of that for ALL BALLS. I cut him off as he started saying that name as I’ve never had luck with their parts.
Off to my local Kawasaki I went and they informed me of the part number change. $41.89 tax in for the part. I also checked at local bearing stores and they all knew the bearing right off hand when seeing it, but they only carried Chinese brands for around $25 plus tax because "no one ever wants to pay 80-100 dollars for the Koyo."
I figured for $10 more I would get the Kawasaki OEM over the Chinese stuff. I’m just hoping with the new Kawasaki part number that it’s still a Koyo bearing. Should be here in a few days so I will keep you posted.
Steering issues
I was out yesterday on my 2011 Grizzly 550 eps and had a steering issue. After going through a few mud holes with the diff lock engaged the steering would lock up so hard I couldn’t turn the handlebars. I then would have to go forward/reverse a few times and keep trying to turn the bars and finally would hear a click and then could steer again but with great effort. After that I would continue down the trail and every so often the bars would jerk erratically to the left or right on their own. This bike has only 480km on it. Any help as to where to start looking for the problem would be greatly appreciated.
