FROWNED ON

Well guy’s am I ever being roasted at work for buying a Grizz, this part of the country Honda and 750 Brute Force rule, you would not believe the horror stories I was told about Yamaha atv products in the last two or three day’s, one guy brought me in a tow rope to tie to my front bumper forever you are going to need it he said, another guy gave me a pair of walking shoe’s he said put them in that front trunk so they would not be cold when I put them on when I walk home, I really like my Grizz, please oh lord let the Grizz hold together, thanks

708 engine: Let this be known far and wide!

A member on GC (Loudelectronics) just informed me that the new 2016, quote (708 is not a Yamaha Motor anymore. Yamaha outsourced it to Subaru. One look at it and you can tell it is not the same Yamaha castings that we are used to.) IMO that is very deceptive on Yamaha for not really putting that news out there. I am not putting Subaru down but I thought I was getting a YAMAHA engine when I bought my 2016 Grizzly!

2014 AC 1000XT or 2016 Grizzly

I had to sell my 2014 700SE Grizzly due to a career blip. Things are better now and I’m in the market for a new ride. I went to my dealer to look at the new 2016’s and overheard another salesman there talking on the phone about the Cat 1000XT at a blow out price; $7,300 plus MI sales tax. I asked my sales rep about it and he said it’s the best deal going in atv’s right now. I know nothing about cat and can only assume that Suzuki had some input due to their previous stake in Cat ownership.

Anyways, my question is this; does anyone have any experience with the big Cat?

Thanks.

Removing the Swaybar on Grizzly 700 2015

Any thoughts or experiences with removing the Swaybar on the Grizzly 700 2015 model?!

The Grizzly 700 2015 is a lot wider than the Grizzly 700 2007 – 2014 models, so I thought maybe removing the swaybar would add comfort without loosing to much stability.

Any thoughts about this? Could there be other disadvantages than less stability? – maybe more stress to the chassis or anything else..

I want as much comfort as possible..

So disapointed in new 2016 grizzly 700 EPS

Hi guy’s, Just picked up my new 2016 grizzly 700 EPS yesterday 9/18/15 got Home after 5pm. road it around the house about a half a dozen times and put it in the garage ate the evening meal and checked out the owner’s manual and bla, bla bla. Got up this morning and checked out the new grizz, but to my dismay found a pool of oil under it WTF. I pulled off the skids and found were the case goes together oil was leaking. I am just sick, going back to dealer today with griz in tow!:icon_ cry:Just got back from the dealer and they agreed with me that a new ride would be in order, well see! I will keep you all updated this week when I find out something. Oh and by the way the silver letters that spell out ( YAMAHA ) on the side of this grizz, two had fallen off on the trip from the dealer and was able to just flick the rest of them off very easy. Fit, Finish & Quality, that is what I thought I was getting, hum.

I can’t stop spending money on my atv!!! Help!!

So tommorow morning I’m dropping my atv of at the stealer for it’s first service (300.00) taxes in,ouch!! My new wheels and tires will also be mounted (can’t wait) and I also have a 2r ckming in the mail.My next mod is under armour, what is this guide plate? And is that the best option now? I read some giid things about ricochet? Is there any fitment issues?Giddy up!!!

Well Fellas

Let me start this off by saying what needs to be said. The grizzly is gone. I was going to keep it. After my last little ride and the fun I had I swore I was going to keep her.

once again I was in the garage drinking and a buddy let me have it on how I never take her out anymore and how it’s so sad to let her sit and waste away. With out any hesitation he got on it and tore off up the road and was gone for a good 10 minutes. The guy returned with a large smile on his face and said "you got to let her go to someone who will use her"

That being said I activated an add for her locally with a pretty high price tag and said to myself "someone who knows will call" not a word of a lie I 29 minutes later I received an email, then a phone call (I wasn’t ready) the next morning she was gone SOLD.

the sound of the barkers. The smell of the rich programer, it will always be a memory of mine,

GC and all the FRIENDS I have made will long live as the best Forum I have ever belonged to. I am going to enjoy my wolveriene I am going to moat likely take the $10k I got for the grizz and pamper the wolverine a lil bit (or alot) this could even be a down payment of the new 1000 if I get the wife drunk enough.

I won’t be gone but I may be in the shadows. And i will for sure keep updates on the wolverine coming

Everyone here has been the best …Really

The Grizz will be missed but one day replaced
