Clutch Noise

I’m having a clanking noise, almost like a clicking or light knocking when I come to a stop. Machine runs strong but this noise just started, any ideas? Even if a rev it in neautral, when it makes it’s way to idle, it give a slight noise as well.

Grizzly Part Numbers Confusion

I’m still working on a 1998 Yamaha Grizzly YFM600FWAK. Why do there seem to be some many different part numbers for same thing? Looking for cam chain:
1. Yamaha gives 94590-27126 Yamaha Motor Canada
2. Motosport OEM gives 94591-40126-00 OEM Yamaha Utility ATV Parts | MotoSport
3. HLSM OEM part finder gives 94591-45126-00

Rules state, cannot post actual links, so the sources are provided.

All these are supposedly for the Grizzly 600 as above. Can anyone explain what is all means and why the different numbers? Possible the numbers change up, but cannot find any information to verify that.
More confusing are the cam chains on Ebay, because many provide the year/model number for compatibility but no part numbers.

660 front hydrolic brake locking up

Hey Everyone,

Just had a quick question; I am having a very weird issue with my front right tire. It seems to lock up completely at random. I cant get it to do it when I want it too, but the last 2 times I have gone riding, I notice my one front time locks and wont move (usually in the parking lot – thank god). It fixes itself pretty quickly but my only assumption I can come too is that the inside of the break line is starting to deteriorate.

Would this make sense? or would I be better off to just flush the line, refill the fluid, and see how it goes on the next ride?

Thanks,

K&N or UNI air filter

i want to know wich one is the best?? I hear good things about the uni and I found it for less then alf the price of the K&N… uni for 27$ and K&N is 74$….. does the K&N worth the price or uni will be a good choice for the price?? did some one run them or compare them?? thanks for your help :rocker:

Safe to mill a secondary down?

03 660 Grizzly
I pulled my secondary (and primary) last night and the both have scalloped (wavy) ridges on them. I’m sending the primary to coop so he will fix that. My real question is can I safely take any material off both secondary sheaves without gettin myself into heap of trouble? Normally I’d just replace it but I found out I need a front diff rebuild on top of the primary work. I don’t think it’ll be more than 1m needing to be removed.
Thoughts, opinions, experiences welcome!!
Cheers,
