I just ordered a 734 big bore kit with an 11:1 je piston. What hp numbers is everyone getting with this kit? As far as mods go i already have stage 2 hotcam, big gun evo slip on, dynatek fuel and ignition, modded air box lid with k&n and clutch kit. Do you think i should just put the big bore kit in or get the head ported as well? The only reason why i am doing this now is because my lower rad hose popped off the water pump and i lost all my coolant and overheated real bad had it up to almost 270f. Im pretty sure i cooked the head gasket sice there was a large amount of oil on the left side of my engine and the front.
I’m about to install the jbs sheave on my friends 700 and he lost the 2 anti friction washers that came with the kit.we have the clutch all apart and to get them shipped here to newfoundland for 2 washers that are 6 dollars its 50$ for shipping.will it hurt to not use them?

but does not do it when I take airbox lid off a bit or completely off, so anyone have any ideas? Is there a mod to airbox or something or do I need to make carb adjustment. I just got it serviced.

My son asked me if my motor movers when I give it gas,he said that his really moves up and down, Yamaha 700 2010.
We check it with a flashlight and discover the front right motor mount is bad, get it stood up pull bottom skid plate off for the first time since we put it on in 2010, three motor mounts are bad.
Most likely will change all four, Any advice, does or don’ts appreciated.

Wanting a +12 crank with a 105.5 or 106mm piston performance upgrade done on my Grizzly 700 motor. Wanting to use a Web Cam 2 Cam for the increase in low to mid rpm power gains this cam offers for the 800cc+ grizzly motor, not interested in a 10,000 rpm race motor, but a motor that pulls super hard off bottom and continues to pull hard up though to 6500 to 7000 rpm. To keep from over heating issues, the combustion chamber, top side of the ex. valve along with port channels in. and ex. with the piston top and sides coated as well, with a good performance coating to keep heat soak from taxing the already over worked cooling system. But I need a reliable builder that knows their stuff already. I can be reached here or at 580-665-7204 … Thanks … BRIAN
