What is this part? 2014 Grizzly 350

I have a 2014 grizzly 350 with around 40-50 hours on it. I rolled it out of the garage the other day and found some type of stainless lock washer, I cant post pictures due to being a new member, so I know this is not very helpful, but I didnt know if there was something common that it might be. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Belt cleaning?

Working on my buddy’s Grizzly 550 after he swamped the CVT out and got everything cleaned up and regreased, but i’m stumped on the belt, its greasy and sticky. Whats the most effective way to get it clean that won’t damage the belt? I was going to use our solvent tank but thought I’d ask on here first just in case. Thanks boys! Its my first time dealing with water in the CVT, what a freaking mess.

Grizzly 700 Performance Questions

Soooo… I have a 2011 Grizzly 700 that I bought used a few weeks ago. This past weekend I took it down to Busco Beach with some buddies and finally got to really try it out, other than playing around the house. It has a brand new set of 26" Zillas and ITP SS212 14" wheels. In the few days before the trip, I flushed ALL the fluids and replaced them and cleaned the air box and added a new UNI filter. The only thing I did not touch was the clutch. The atv has a lot of power and great top end (I’ve had it up to 67), and is surprisingly strong. The only complaint I have is that it seems to bog down slightly from a dead stop if you give it full throttle. If its already rolling a couple mph when you floor it, it goes great. It’s only from a dead stop that it bogs. It even did this with the factory wheels and tires before I added the Zillas.

I was thinking about doing the 1.5mm shim mod. I know it supposedly takes away a little top end. Does anybody know how much I’d lose? Or do you have any suggestions to help with the take off? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and on another note, other than the one complaint I have, I love this four wheeler! I put it through a lot this weekend and was really impressed. And I absolutely love the Zillas!

Jbs install

My 2012 is getting a JBS sheave and a gold spring. I have 27" zillas no other mods I ride trails with lots of rocks and hill climbing. Do I put in the wet clutch pins if so what do the pins do in the wet clutch? how will it help me in my trail riding?

Grizzly 600 crank breather routing / connection??

So I purchased my 2001 grizzly 600 a couple of months ago and have done a ton of maintenance and repairs to it.

I have the factory service manual downloaded and have searched extensively for the routing and top connection point for the crankcase breather hose which was disconnected when I bought it. It still has the heat protective foil cover over the majority of it in decent shape and there is a 90° plastic elbow fitting in the end with a nipple type end on it and I have no idea where it should terminate…?

Secondly there is a piece of plastic air duct that the service manual shows connecting to a rubber hose coming out of the drive belt housing into the area under the carburetor and in front of the airbox. I can get it wedged back in there and possibly even hooked up to the hose but I have no idea as to whether it would be positioned correctly in the space. The positioning that the service manual image seems to show has me completely perplexed.

These are the final two unanswered questions that stand between this thing sitting in the garage or out at the farm climbing creekbanks, etc.

Any help..?

Grizzly 734 kit

I just ordered a 734 big bore kit with an 11:1 je piston. What hp numbers is everyone getting with this kit? As far as mods go i already have stage 2 hotcam, big gun evo slip on, dynatek fuel and ignition, modded air box lid with k&n and clutch kit. Do you think i should just put the big bore kit in or get the head ported as well? The only reason why i am doing this now is because my lower rad hose popped off the water pump and i lost all my coolant and overheated real bad had it up to almost 270f. Im pretty sure i cooked the head gasket sice there was a large amount of oil on the left side of my engine and the front.
