I have no reverse and the reverse light is continuously on, I’ve removed the shift lever rod and moved the selector by hand and still no reverse.. Also I have no Park light and it feels like it’s not locking into park.. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

I just bought a 2015 grizzly 700 SE and I am only 11 miles away from finishing the break in point. Today I was able to take her out for a 50 mile ride and I noticed that both the rear axles have some play where they go into the final. So I come home and unload grizz off truck and pull it into shed and I check the front axles. They also have play. How can all 4 be wobbling already. They aren’t bad… only 1/8 maybe. Here is where it gets confusing…. When in park you can rock the grizz forward and backwards a little before the wheels lock…totally normal. I noticed that when I push the quad forward and reverse and hold the weight of the grizz onto that lock point that the play in axles go away. If you push it forward or reverse and stop it and hold it there before it reaches that lock point you have play in the axles. How can that be? If the axle splines were worn it would always wobble. If the diff bearings were bad again…always wobble. It is just how the grizz is geared. I couldn’t really find anything useful doing a site search so I am asking….especially since I am new to grizzlies.
Ok all I find is people saying to ground the green wire with the white stripe to override reverse. But I can’t find one on mine… Is it a different wire? anyone able to help me out?
2015 Grizzly 550 here.
Looking at adding some moly "Liqui Moly 2019" to the front diff unit.
Anyone tried this method for reduced friction? Looks to be some great stuff.
So after a nice hard day of mudding just when I got done my engine temp light came on and coolant was everywhere. When I went to run more coolant in it the next day to find the leak I noticed a crap ton of dirt dust coming out the back end. What I found is chunks of dirt in what I assume is some sort of intake for the tranny that comes out under the rear rack. I took that whole piece out and looked into the tranny to find more dried up mud. It still runs fine I don’t hear any funny noises but the dirt dust keeps flying. How big of a problem is this aND is there a safe way to try and get that mud out
So I am approaching the end of my break in period of my new grizz (Finally!). I was looking at the typical oil filter manufactures and was unable to locate an alternative to the yamaha brand oil filter. Is there one available for the 2015 grizz 700 SE? Also do the drain plugs on the engine, diff and final drive have magnets on them? And if not where can I locate a set of drain plugs that do?
I know some parts can be used in place of the factory ones. Like oil filters for instance. Can just pick up a $3-5 one for a car at Walmart instead of paying $8-10 for one at the dealer. Same goes for some radiator caps, etc…
Is there any part interchanges for a thermostat on an 02 660 Grizz? Car thermostats are about $5-8. And the Yamaha one is $25+, plus the dealer has to order it or I have to online.
Anyone ever came across one that will swap out from the auto parts store?
