Gas and Oil in Shocks ?

Looking my machine over I’m pretty sure I have a left shock that’s leaking . Even tho these are gas shocks I assume there is still oil somewhere ( is there ? ) . I cleaned both shocks then when for a ride and the left side is wet the right side dry . Could be my first warranty ever . And dam a new shock with spring is only like $133 bucks they must be made in China 🙂

Seat complaints

I have an 09 Grizzly 550 and find the seat incredibly uncomfortable. Could not find any threads on the subject. I am 5′ 10′. Because of the way the fuel tank door is designed I don’t see an easy fix. I find myself up against the tank all the time even with the handlebars rolled back a bit. The foam on a grizzly is way too soft and the most important part of me is getting sore from the hard plastic under the very front of the seat. Rode a 2013 550 xp the other day and found the seat outstanding, along with the racks. I also preferred the polaris eps over the yamaha’s. The Grizzly was much quicker and rides better, but the seat has me ready to get rid of it. Anyone out there have this same complaint?
Anyone have a solution?

Camber issue

I know there is no way to adjust the camber but my front right wheel has a camber issue. I too pics of the bottom tie rods on each side and you can see a difference in them. It looks that the tie rods have been replaced or something and the difference in space explains why the top of that wheel is kicked out. Is this something I can fix or easier just to buy a used a-arm? I don’t think anything is bent just maybe tie rod was not installed correctly?

replacement shocks

I noticed on my last ride that the shocks on my 450 are leaking, so it’s time for replacement. What seems to be the best for replacement. I am not going to spend more for these than I would for my on road vehicles. I have 8 shocks to buy. A set for 450 and a set for 550:gcrules:
Thanx for the input:lala:

handle bar alignment

I have a ’14 700 grizzly and my front tire hit a large rockand turned the wheels very forcefully. No my handle bars are very slightly turned when going straight. I can’t see the tie-rod ends being the problem. Is the problem likely where the steering shaft mounts to the top shaft of the power steering box. I assume there is a splined connection, is it possible the splines skipped? Or would it be something inside the power steering box? Thanks for any help

Ball bearing or cv axle replacement?

I have an 05 grizzly 660 that has some rear end play. I launched out of a mud pit and came straight down on my tail end but I’m not sure what caused the play or what it is exactly. I can wiggle my wheel left right up and down with some play but I grabbed the cv axle and I have play moving that in and out of the cv boot. Is this a shot wheel bearing or will I have to replace the entire cv axle.

Rear break job

Watched the utubes and I am going to do a rear break job along with shocks etc. I cleaned up my wiring and am just going to carry on with a major service. When reinstalling the rear the calipers what should a person torque to. I was not sure what the service manual called the caliper bolts.
