Sheared Rear Caliper Bleed Nipple?

So, unfortunately, I sheared the rear caliper bleed nipple. Would the simplest remedy be to try and bleed it from the hose or to drill and tap it? Also, I might me able to source a used caliper- what other models/years have the same caliper as a 2006 Kodiak 450?
Thanks Guys.

So where and how do you all buy your secondary clutch springs . I only seem to find whole kits .
I see ebay is easy to get shims , but not seen individual springs for sale.

Simple fix turns bad, then worse… Help with CV!!!

Well I broke a front axle over the weekend.. More specifically the outer CV joint. Ok, simple fix. I call Super ATV today and order a new axle. It’s on the way. So I go up to dads shop where the Grizzly is at to go ahead and get it ready.
Start tearing into the front to get the axle out. I start tugging on the axle… It wouldn’t come out. So I re-position myself to tug harder. A few tugs later… Out pops the shaft from the upper CV joint! Thus, it is now stuck in the diff. I pry the boot off, and grab some channel locks and hook on the CV and keep tugging to no avail.

Well that was the bad part… Now the worse.

I decided to tear apart the other side to get that axle out to see if I could stick something through the diff to tap the broken CV out. I got to tug out that axle…. SAME THING!!! the axle shaft pulled out of the diff!! Now the only thing holding it together is the boot….

HELP!!! What do I do now???!!

QUESTIONS: A arm and knuckle bushings

Thought my bearings were bad again in the front and rear and once I had the wheels off I realized all my a arm bushings are bad or going bad. Also realized in the rear not only are my knuckle bushings and sleeves bad but one of the lower bushings were actually broken in half.

I’m pretty sure I’m just gonna order all new rear hubs with bearings and bushings already in them to make it easy.

Where is the best place to get a compete set of a arm bushings front and rear? Race driven seems to be about the only ones who have them but they come with knuckle bushings and I won’t need them.

Also I noticed that the upper a arm mounts could possibly be ovaled out because the bolt moves quite a bit or could it just be the bolt is worn or is just the bad bushing causing all of this movement? Could be a real pain tryin to fix that if the holes are ovaled out.

Any help is appreciated, Cody

Yamaha rear axle lengths.

Anybody can tell what this fits or what models . The size rear axle fully compressed measuring 500 mm . This is with inner 23 splines .
Outer 27 splines .

The reason I ask is some very kind shop keeper fleeced me on price and postage to send me 2 of this size axle .

What I had ordered and paid for was 530 mm long fully compressed , for a 2009 grizz 700.

The last bit yes you guessed it the cheapest axles on the market , Turners……. being sarcastic with the last remark .
Needless to say I am pissed off .

Not bought from Turners I might add .
