What do you think it could be I have a 2013 xtp and the speedo quits working and sometimes I lose the power steering.Last time it did it I just reset the assist too max and the speedometer worked , every thing was back to normal ?

So I am looking at insurance for my new xmr and I found a decent deal but I have never used this company and heard alot of good/bad. I have had the same insurance company for going on 14 years and maybe its time for a change…

I got 3 quotes for my atv below.

1. Progressive – 415 / year @ 250 deduct + max coverage (liability, etc)
2. State Farm – 381 / year @ 500 deduct – regular coverage not max
3. Geico – 250 / year @ 250 deduct + max coverage (liability, etc)

Does anyone have experience working with Geico? Are they decent? I am thinking about moving my boat/rv/atv to a new insurance company.

State farm is my current insurer, their price isnt too bad but lately they have been going up and I have 0 claims and I am married @ 32 years old so its getting a little old paying more and more. On a + note they said they cover the atv if its sunk, rolled down a hill, or generall damaged by my stupidity.

Does anyone know how Geico coverage is as far as water damage from sinking or riding damage? Are they easy to work with or a pita? I have had no dealings with them at all.

then is it still worth it to get the upgraded XXC?

The XXC used to be my dream machine but looking at the cheapest 1000R Rene it’s MSRP is the same as what my Outy was when I bought it. =O

Yes, there are a LOT of benefits to getting the XXC but from the factory shocks in my 11′ Outy to the factory shocks in a 16′ Rene I would think it would feel leaps and bounds better….

the base 1000R is thousands less than the XXC, however the XXC package is a deal when you price things out normally. Hard thing would be the lack of Power steering and QE diff. even more so than the shocks IMO.

Thoughts? Either way they have the same power so why not go with the cheaper one for the EXACT SAME POWER. refer to the above list of importance.

I used to believe if I ever got a Renegade I would never get anything less than the XXC because of all the goodies that are included but now I’m not so sure.

Not sure the extras are worth it when they already have the same power……..

Had one chew through a coolant hose last year then one build a nest that caught fire by the exhaust. For a while I couldn’t do much besides moth balls because my dog was around the atv but now I have it to where he can’t get to and have caught 4 rats so far but wondering if anyone else has that issue and how your dealing with it

Long story short … I’m installing a winch on a 4 wheeler and need to find a bolt just like this one except it needs to be 1/4" longer.

Sorry the pics a little out of focus due to distance. It’s a 5/16-18 3/4" bolt with a hex head that says E-G 10.9. I searched ebay using the best criteria I could and didn’t see anything similar after searching through literally the first 1000 hits.

I believe the 10.9 expresses a really high strength that I’m really not that concerned about. The replacement doesn’t need to be as strong.

Anybody have a suggestion on where I can find something like this? If all else fails I can try to do the connection differently but for now I’m just looking for as close a replacement as possible.
