I moved my 2008 RZR 800 from trailer to garage with no problems. Go to start it a day later and battery almost dead tried to start but not enough battery. Very weak but was turning over and eventually dead battery.
Charged battery and just a click from silenoid. Lights bright and unchanged with starting attempt.
Jumped across silenoid and nothing.
Checked voltage at starter while turning key. 12.7v
Relay working
Thinking maybe bad battery still I put a known good battery in. Same Condition just a click from silenoid.
Thinking maybe bendix is stuck I tapped on starter while trying to start. Same condition just click from silenoid.

What are the odds my starter goes out same time I encounter a dead battery?
Maybe bendix is in a bind from trying to start with low battery.
Any advice would help!

Hey, new guy here. I’m currently looking at buying a 2009 rzr 800. The seller says that it is the "S" model but i noticed it dosent have the fox shocks, just factory polaris shocks. It is wider then a regular 800 so I’m not sure what it is! Is there any other way for me to tell which one it is? It is listed on Craigslist in the New York, Long Island section.

It has lots of aftermarket stuff but want to make sure is is actually an 800s.

Sometimes when I turn the key to start, it spins, and try again it will turn over and start. First time it happened, I had been riding in wet weather and thought it may have got wet. It started ok, but would spin every so often then catch. The next time it happened it was dry, spin once then start. It would seem it only does it when riding. Starts every time when cold. So, do I buy a starter w/sol. or just sol., or just starter? Any thing wrong with buying after market (like fm amazon).
