Rear Output Shaft

I have a 15 Rzr4 1000 with S3 8" lift 34" outbacks with stock clutches, Turner 30% gear reduction in transmission, Booger Toxic Toys Front Billet Diff. This will be my 3rd rear diff output shaft. Is there a fix for this as in a beefier setup or a bulletproof design. I am sick and tired of 1600 dollar repairs on this.

2013 XP 900 Belt Width

I’m having a hard time finding any info on the minimum width for the XP900 belt.

The OE belt I currently have is # 3211148, it has over 2200 miles on it and the width is about 1.230".

I have two new Gates belts # 21C4140, one measures under 1.200" (brand new, never used) and the other I just purchased measures about 1.230. That’s a huge difference for the same belt!

Gates website says the belt should be 1.219", the Amazon seller said the belt should be 1.281" wide.

All these #’s are so inconsistent!! Anyone know the real specs? I can’t even find a spec on a new OE belt, let alone what the minimum thickness should be. The manual just says measure against the width of a new one. Well my old one is wider than one of my new belts and about the same as my other new one, so that doesn’t tell me much.

I sent Gates an email, just waiting on a response from them. Thought I’d ask here and see if anyone has been through this before and found any useful information.

Should I just get an OE belt and keep the Gates for a spare? Will the new OE belt be wider than my widest Gates belt?

800 crank seal

Does anyone know if the motor has to come out to replace the crank seal on a 800. The belt came apart and took out the seal. Never will I let anyone eve drive my rzr again. lol It appears that I can use a pick ro pull the old one out and tap the new one in with a seal installer.

Clutch puller question

I have a 14 800xc and got a clutch puller from pit posse part number PP3078. It seems long, won’t fit between the clutch and the fuel tank. My question is do you have to pull the fuel tank out to get the tool un there, or maybe I bought the wrong puller?

Adjusting a DDP clutch, xp4 900

I bought a DDP clutch kits for my 2013 xp4. I took it out to sand mountain NV for Halloween and played around with it a bit and I have some questions. First off I ran it set up as sent to me and I was maxing out at 7500 rpm. The tip had the aluminum bolt in it so I left it alone. The middle weight was a green steel bolt. I replaced it with an aluminum one and then maxed out at 8000 rpm. Looking for a little more rpm I took out the bolt closest to the pivot and took off the two thick washers, and reinstalled the bolt. That resulted in 8400 rpm but it actually felt a little slower. I also killed two belts in a day so i put the two washers back in. So what am I doing right or wrong? What adjusts belt clamping vs rpm? Do the different weight positions do different things? Can you give me a crash course in weight selection and adjustments? Thanks!

counter balance shaft gear half the teeth broken off

I have a 2011 900 with about 1200 miles. i was doing some fast trail riding and all of a sudden heard a loud knocking so I turned it off right away.
the oil was full and clean. Tore it apart last night and the counterbalance shaft gear had about half the teeth missing and the crank gear had all the teeth but a couple had a few gouges in them. Everything else looked fine Anybody heard of this and have any idea what happen
I do change oil and air filter very often and everything looked super clean in the air box and intake tract

Clutch Cover Problem

Has anyone run into their clutch cover not lining up with the housing and creating a gap that isn’t sealed? No matter what, I can’t get the rear to line up even though all the screws are lined up fine. The long and short of it is that a huge amount of dirt gets in and now my secondary rollers are flat spotted…

Curious if this has happened to anyone else? I think I might try to see if it’ll be a warranty issue since the dirt is obviously going to lead to a failure of some sort.
