Hi guys, new here, I have a 2013 rzr 800s that i just picked up. when i start it, it has a loud rattling sound that sounds like its coming from top of the engine. Also, when i give it gas it stutters like its only running on one cylinder, almost dies when i put it in gear and give it gas. Compression test show right over 180 on each cylinder. Was told it could be a bad lifter but wanted some other opinions as to what it may be, and as to what i need to check next. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
Since it appears that replacement primarys are getting difficult to locate, curious the differences between the models and years. Looked at my xp900 clutch and compared it to my friends xp1000 primary and the only difference I could find was the weights and spring. Is the rest the same? Interchangeable with just a spring and weight swap? What about the 570 primary? Just looking for options in case something goes wrong and need a make shift replacement.
so i recently installed a hcr kit on my rzr. i had to replace the cv clamps on the axles. the outboard side of the rear cv seams to be tight and the after market clamp hits the housing. this is not going to work. anyone ran into this before? any help would be appreciated. maybe somewhere i can buy a oem style clamp instead of the after market on that folds back onto it self.
hi, i have a 2010 rzr 800 efi and after changing oil of the transfert case and transmission, the oil go out by the vent after stop my rzr why do that. I put the polaris synthetique oil.
ok guys i need some help and advice. working on my 2009 rzr s, i have been having problems with this thing for awhile ( ever since i purchased it 3 yrs ago). anyways my current problem being it wont start consistently. when it does start it seems to run fine but its getting it to start everytime. thats the problem.

im thinking its the starter bendix that is messing up causing this problem.
today i took the motor out and im going through everything and replacing anything that needs replaced. took off the head and found a piece of rubber sealant on a rod. is there anything i need to look for and def change out?

I bought a new (2011) RZR S this weekend. My first ride was yesterday and an hour into the ride I experienced a check engine light. Of course, I immediately registered on here in order to search other members’ issues and came up with this post:
This guy basically had the exact same issue (codes) that I am having, but is obviously a LOT more tech savvy than I am. Prior to retirement, I was a UH-60 Blackhawk Test Pilot, so I know how to get around complicated machinery, but I am clueless on this machine. The guy basically refers to a chasis relay and that this fixed his problem.
I know it is taboo to reply to a post that is that old, so I am starting a new one trying to end where that one left off.
Basically, I have NO IDEA where that is or how he went about fixing the problem. If anyone can guide me in the right direction I would be very appreciative. If there are any references (maintenance manuals) out there somewhere, i would love to get my hands on one.
