I have a 2012 xmr and have started to have suspension issues. Everything was fine until i had my quad serviced last year. Now the front suspension wont air down. Even at higher speeds where air down should be automatic it isnt. Is this not a safety issues? Has anyone else experienced this?
Just wanted to vent a little, so I bought this bike in march and before I was able to get 5 hrs on it the rear diff pinion seal was leaking. Took it in under warranty. Replaced the seal and wear ring. Took the bike in for 10hr service and the diff seal was leaking again. Found that the oil seal in the gearbox for the secondary was also leaking. So we replaced both seals again….. the third time the diff seal leaked brp put a new yoke and diff in the bike. About 3 weeks ago my water pump seal started to leak. Ok got that replaced. Well the diff seal is leaking again…. I noticed when it started leaking the diff was pretty hot I mean only touch it for 3 seconds before saying ouch. Haha. So here is my rant. What’s everyone think

Well I couldn’t be happier, picker her Friday night and now have about 55 miles on her, what a machine. I feel like I am riding on top of the world😀, not very many XMRs around these parts so I get a lot of people who come up asking about it and checking it out. I am still in the break in procedure and need to tune the shocks for my kinda riding. Only plans right now are to put a better overall trail tire on and save the SBs for mud play.

What does the 15 XMR come with for underbelly protection, the book says stock rear diff guards but it’s not on the one I am about to buy, dealer said he would hook me up with aluminum ones
What all comes with a new 2015 XMR1000, what comes with th tool kit, doesn’t come with the shock tool adjuster? Just asking I pick mine in a few hours and want to make sure I get everything lol.
Just bought a patv kit for my xmr..not much to it but I wasn’t expecting much being that it’s just risers. I did notice that it appears to be a 2" for intake and 1.5" for cvt intake/exhaust. Whats y’all’s thoughts on not being 2" all the way around? Will 1.5" be ok or not enough to cool the belt?
im going to be setting up my 2015 xmr 800R
For straight line mud pit drag racing. Most of the pits in nh are 12"-18" of mud that’s like wet cement with water on top.
I’m thinking a 6" catvos and a 28" silverback or outlaw 2 .
What do you guys racing think? Skinny wide tire combo or skinny skinny? Any suggestions on clutch setup (I’ve heard stm rage is good for racing). I’m not sure on if I’ll do anything that would need a efi programer, there’s nobody in nh that can dyno my wheeler for a custom tune.
