So finally blew my first belt over the weekend, what do most of you recommend for a replacement? Or should i just buy the Can-Am one again? Thanks.

Can-am vs Polaris
I might be posting in wrong section but it’s about a possible XMR buy. I really like the looks of the xmr, and everything I’ve read about them. Now with the 2016 on the way and sounds to be even better then the 15. I’m interested to know what makes the xmr better than polaris say scrambler or the sportsman. ( both the 1000cc models ) I have never road with anyone that owns a can-am, road with many polaris riders ( at the time I had a Honda trx 450r ) At one time I though strictly xmr or the scrambler 1000, now I read that sportsman is going to come out with the highlifter 1000 cc sportsman. Now that quad has my eye more than the scrambler. The xmr having the great reviews and being set up for a passenger is awesome in my eye for the fact I can toss a seat on it and wife or one of the kids can ride with me. I’ve heard from other post xmr riders say if your trail riding you’re going to want a 2nd set of tires, does the quad really ride that rough? Places I rider is mostly trails and creeks 2 places are pretty good mud riding plafes. I’m not wanting a touring machine at all. Pretty much for anyone that wants to speak up what makes your xmr better than a polaris quad? What made you buy can-am over a polaris?

Now for the bad after just 100 miles of me owing the XMR 338 total miles on the machine the rear diff blew. I was not beating on it, not spinning the caught traction. It started as a clunk then a grind like a rock caught in a caliper. Then a very load clunk a grind then it wouldn’t move. Dropped it off at the dealer today and the previous owner got the extended BEST warranty and it is going to be covered. dealer said they no longer makes that diff and it will be replaced with a stronger updated differential. Is this true? Anyway should have it back in a week already having withdrawals.

Tuner XMR 1000
Hey everybody I know this question has been asked a million times but I need to ask again. I have a HMF slip on should I put a tuner on it and which one is the best? I know a lot of people buy from John at Vforce but I was hoping to get something local so I can put it on for this weekend. The machine is a 2013 and I have been running it with the HMF for that long and nothing has happened, other than my seat melting which has been stopped. Also has anyone mounted a secondary fan underneath in front of the motor to help with the heat?
Air controlled suspension
Just got back from a short ride and noticed my air compressor will kick on purge the air and kick on etc. Even if the setting is on one. Anyone ever had this problem?
Tough shifting…
The shifting is getting worse. It’s never had that butter smooth shift. Always had to do the "hump". There is the rare occasion where things seem to align and it is smooth but not often. I’ve replaced the one way bearings, changed gear lube n added the ep moly. Marginally better but not smooth. Haven’t ever touched the shift linkage. Not sure exactly which way to go with it. Just trial n error? Shifter doesn’t want to jump either way when its taken out of its notch and never had any trouble with it slipping out of fear. Any advice would be appreciated!

PC5 waterproofing.
I was wondering if anyone else has used this location to place their module. I’m new to the xmr/Can-am (15′ 1000) scene so I’m looking for some tips. It doesn’t seem to interfere with the seat latching on as the seat goes on okay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
