Got the wife a 2016 570 XMR

So I went to the dealer today. Told sales lady that I just wasn’t sure about the 570 xmr. So they let me ride the 570 xmr before purchase. I was instantly sold. This 570 is surprisingly quick and nimble. Def better power then the wife’s mudpro 700.

Got it home and we rode down the black top a few miles to break it in. I was on my 800 and her on the 570. About halfway back. She nails the throttle so I did to. I barely gained on her. Next thing I know I’m topped out at 47 and she starts pulling away. Both of us in low gear.

So far my opinion is:

Pros:
Feels like a bigger bike then it is
Handles great
Rides excellent
Good power for a smaller bike
Plenty of ground clearance
Headlights are brighter then expected

Cons:
Exhaust gets the plastics way too hot
No tach
Clutch is very jerky
And she doesn’t like the mud zillas. Lol

29.5 terms on 650 xmr.

So im not all that happy with the mud zillas, there ok and well suited for the 650 motor but im wanting a different tire, my 1st choice would be OLR 28s, but I priced at local dealer and there $1500 plus id need rims so no can do,, so I was looking into terms since there 12 inch rim and supposedly run smoothly, , I trail more than mud but love getting deep when the chance arrives, so the 29.5 terms weigh 41 lbs,, and I like how they are 10 wide all around,, looks awsome,, iv aleady got DBO 650 installed, id need to instal y/b secondary and brass rivets , but are they too much for the smaller 650.and how does the 29.5 term weigh 41 lbs and the 26.5 term weigh 40,, same with the outlaws, the 29.5 are quite light, any thoughts on terms on 650 appreciated:aniwheeler6:

Questions about 2015 650 XMR? Not sure if it’s too much for wife..

Last week my wife said she would rather have my 2015 800 xmr then a new 2015 xmr 650. So this weekend we went to an atv park so she could ride my xmr while I rode her mud pro 700. To make sure she wanted my 800. She was literally scared of it. She putted around on it. Hit a little mud here and there. I was constantly waiting on her. When usually she is pushing me out of the way.

After a few hours I gave her MP back and we carried on. Got to the sand drags. She wanted to race. The dam MP beat me by 3 links. I was like wtf? She was outrunning everyone. Those outlaw mst were hooking up better then my SB’s… She isn’t scared of the MP. It’s got a 750 cc kit, tune, clutch work and HMF exhaust. And swears my 800 xmr is too much. Both machines are physically same size and the mp has 1.5" more ground clearance. But my 800 feels way more powerful..

So she thinks she wants the 650 xmr now. But my concerns are.
Shorter wheelbase +
62 hp +
100 lbs lighter +
= lots of wheelies?

Basicly it would feel like a smaller version of my 800? Idk
