Direction 2 over fenders on xmr

Anybody got pics of the direction 2 overfenders on an xmr?

I know what the BRP overfenders look like and I like them, but my brother in law still gets covered in mud cause they don’t go all the wat down to the bottom of footwell..

Visco Lok

Hey guys and gals,

New owner and rider here. Just got a new (to me) 2014 XMR 1000.

I got stuck my first day in some nasty mud and noticed my front right wheel was stuck pretty good and would not turn with the diff lock. Instead the front diff made a clunking noise.

I decided to record a video of the quad in 4×4 on jack stands and with some wood blocks under the wheel. Check out the two videos and let me know if this is normal, or do I need to get the front diff checked out. As you can see in both videos, no noise was made, but it took a long time for the wheel to spin out the wooden blocks.

Thanks!

shift out questions

So my next mods are gunna be cams and fuel controller but for the cams to work right the shift out needs be right, but right now I have a 2015 650 xmr, yoshi slip on and twin air with DBO 650,, what should or is a good shift out as I sit right now and what is the best way to check? Roll along about 15 km/hr then puncher and c what the top rpm is before it levels out? Thnx, reason I ask is im wondering how my DBO 650 is gunna work when cams are installed, I gues im wondering if I might have to add the rivets to the weights, thnx for any input

cam shaft questions

So I’m not real savy on the cams, but from what iv read it’s a good upgrade for HP,what kind of gains would a fella get on a set of Griffin performance cams, and is shorter valve seals all u need to install these cams, and would my 650 need a dyno tune or an auto tune after the install.the reason I’m looking at GPP cams is Mrrpm needs machining and a fuel air tune after.any input appriciated
