hey guys , i have roughly 600km on my bike and i noticed recently that when pulling away or when the bike is under load the bike will make a sort of hissing noise and the engine vibrates .. it only does this in high gear low gear and reverse it is fine , i had the bike stuck once and had a bit of belt smoke and the bike went into limp mode… could it just be a flat spot of the belt or something in the clutching.. any ideas, info appreciated
Just bought the Outlander XMR 1000 in Digital Camo on 9/25/15. Looks like for work I may have to relocate and not be able to take the atv with me.
Seeing if anyone would be interested in the almost brand new atv. Has 20 hours on engine and 100 miles on odometer.
I added the Can-Am X Team radiator insert from PINES in Canada, synthetic winch rope with custom splice hawse fairlead, and warn wireless winch remote.
Only issue I had was the machine was the staples in the seat cover were pulling out of the front by the air filter. Can-Am is replacing the seat with a brand new one.

Cause for sure the speed will change .
Do i have to reprogram computer ?

Just got home with my 2016 XMR 1000 and realized I don’t have a winch controller with it. There’s just the one on the handlebar, but not the cord that plugs into it so I can use the winch while off the machine. Did everybody else’s come with one or do you have to buy that separate?
can anyone help me find some STD bore HC pistons for 1000xmr i have found some for a commander and maverick but not sure if there would be fitment issues?:th_smiliepullhair:
Hello all. Pulled the trigger today for the xrm1000. I Want to order the rear seat and alpine plow right away so I only have to make one trip to get everything. Do I need additional parts to mount the seat? If so does anyone know which ones. Maybe a seat holder? Also I think I read somewhere that I may need an extension kit for the plow because the XRM is higher that other machines. Is that the case? Any additional parts I may need? I’m going to install both things myself. Thanks very much in advance for any assistance. Pumped up about getting the XRM.
Hello. My name is Karen. I’m new to the forum. I just traded my grizzly 450 for a 570 xmr? I’ve tried to search for some info to wire my Badland winch. I suppose it is "prewired" for a winch but I’m not sure what this includes.
My winch is remote control. It basically came with the winch with a positive and negative wire going to a box. The box is a relay and remote sensor I assume. From the box is a positive and negative wire that goes to the battery. That’s it.
Can anyone give me instructions on how to wire this using the "prewire" feature?
So I went out riding with my dealer this past weekend. We were all sitting around talking about the xmr and he says "hey don’t forget I have some modules coming in to remove the low gear restrictions on your xmr" I hadn’t noticed any restrictions :clapsmilie: " yeah there cheap, 70 bucks or so" has anyone heard of this? Does a pcv take care of said restrictions?
