Hey
I’m looking to replace my trailing arm bearing and see that I need a spanner socket, is there anything that can be used besides this special socket that’s sold at the dealer? Any help would be great,
Thanks
I have a 2008 renegade 500 with the red plastics and red shocks from factory. I need new red plastics and 2 rear shocks but cannot seem to find them anywhere there’s plenty of the yellow but not red. Can someone please help me out on where to find them.
It’s a guy in western Canada saw it on his page on Facebook but can’t find it now. He has a renegade with nos and it purges out where outside headlights would be sounds like a machine gun!!!!was trying to explain to a buddy of mine but need the vid…anyone see this I think he has his own shop
went wheeling where I shouldn’t have[bunch of deep mud holes, water etc]. went through a lot of water and lost my headlights. fuse for light would pop everytime I replaced it. Well it was midnight and we were a long way from anywhere so I put some foil on the fuse to have headlights on the way back and this morning noticed the fuse block had melted where the lights fuse goes. any ideas how to bypass this or where to get replacement fuse box?
I finally got around putting the primary on from John. I watched his vid so didn’t screw anything up. Started it up with no cover, everything looked good and sounded good. Put cover back on, did a slow run around the house, hitting the gas now and then to see what it would do. Took it out in the road, wheely’s much easier, and picks up speed quicker. Took it out again yesterday, had my daughter, my sisters and my nieces all out riding. She wanted to go somewhere she never been. I stopped to help her get up a hill. I had to move forward little bit, and in low, felt extra low, had to give it more gas than usual to get it to go forward. Went to put it in park, and was stuck in low, had to rock it to get into park Soon as I put in park, I heard a high pitched squeak from the CVT area, and shut it down. I don’t know if the primary or secondary came off their shafts. I know John told me to make sure the primary was spotless, and did so. And if something happens to the primary, it can take the shaft out. How boned am I? I have been out of work for almost 3 months, with next to zero money coming in. I can’t afford to fix it if indeed there is damage, and warranty won’t cover it if it’s a fault by me. Anything and everything lately has turned to shit. Please give me some good news.

advice, thinking getting a 51mm TB for a gade 1k stock, but I will be getting a full dual exhaust later but in the mean time does it make a big difference if I get it now? I have Bomracing tuner now. did u like the 51mm tb, whats the performance like? I ride fast trails….Thanks
So I have to replace my water pump seal on my renegade 1k. It’s dripping very little So I’ll wait till the weather changes and I can’t ride.
My question is what’s the best way to remove it? I have seen videos and it looks like guys just pry it and hack it off. I can’t see the dealer doing it this way. Any sort of puller or special tool?
