So, the wife wants a YELLOW renegade. I have a local dealer that has one and has given their best price to me of $7700 OTD (includes tax, and all dealer fees) for a 2015 Renegade 500.
Keep in mind she is used to riding a 2005 outlander 330. Her normal riding speed is around 35-40 mph. If she gets over 45 she lets out of it. Lol.
I assume the 500 renegade will be plenty for her???
Does anyone know if there is a fuel controller for the Renegade 2016 1000R yet??
From what I understand this bike runs really lean stock. Leaner than my 2013 Tennyson stock. Don’t want to put aftermarket exhaust on with out a fuel controller.
2 more days till I pick up my new 2016 Renegade 1000 xxc digi camo!
Can’t wait! So what can you guys tell me about the newer generations? I’m coming off a 07 outlander and alot must have changed.
What do I need or should get for mods?
List as of now is
#1 skids (if stocks aren’t good enough )
#2 exhaust and programmer unless I can just do a baffle kit or mod)
#3 primary secondary clutch
#4 risers
#5 hids / led bar
Any Free mods?
Thanks for any information. I’ll be doing as much reading as I can
thinking of buying some 27x9x12 maxxis zillas and putting them on my stock wheels but not sure on what size spacers i need to run. i have the stock polished wheels. any suggestions ?
Been doing some browsing and noticed that a weak point on these bikes is the water pump seal. Mines not leaking but should I change it anyway before it does? the bike has 3000 miles on it. Also does this happen to all the g1 bikes and how does the seal wear out?

So I got my xmr rear bumper in, I’ll be sending it out to get coated. The problem that I have found now is, I want NPP duals but I’m not sure the duals will bolt up.
If you have seen the duals installed, The duals mount to the legs/mounts of the stock bumper. As you can see the xmr bumper doesn’t share the same supports
Well as others know the problems keep on going with my motor.. I have it mostly tore down. Just waiting or a flywheel puller to get the rest. But my front cylinder chain guides, the ones behind the stator are melted. Pieces are in between the timing chain links and there’s tiny pieces of metal up at the valves. Not sure where the metal came from. Wil hopefully know today/tonight when I get more of the motor torn down.
So apparently there was an oil issue I’m assuming, if the guides melted. Just updating everyone on this catastrophe
Question,,whats the benefits of wrapping ur exhaust besides heat? I’m getting the Npp Dual Dominators soon, Niel is making them as we speak,,wondering if I should wrap them…
