Picked up a renegade 500 dirt cheap cause the guy couldn’t get it running. Put in a new fuel pump and battery and she’s good to go….but if I drive even 30 feet and let off the gas it’ll stall. But if I take off and go it’ll run forever until I stop and it’ll stall again. Have to hold the throttle half open to get it running again,,,,unless I shut the key off and let it power down, then it’ll fire right back up with out touching the throttle and idle fine.
Reset TPS couple times, no fault codes, swapped IAC valve for one out another machine,,,same thing. I will mention when i hold the throttle wide open after resetting tps I only get a reading of 80 something degrees open.
Other than this little hiccup it runs awesome and is surprisingly peppy for a 500
I thought about doing a picture write up, unfortunately after I had assembled everything, so sorry about that. The process wasn’t bad, just time consuming, actually it’s fairly simple once you have the motor out..
Picked my through shaft at performance atv, which by the way were awesome at helping me and very fast with shipping. I replaced my seals while I was in there too..

Hey guys i have a 2014 renegade 800r and i currently have 27 inch mega mayhems, skinny/wide combo and in the back they are 11’s. Im getting 28 inch outlaw 1’s soon. Skinny/wide combo and in the back they are 12.5 inches. Does anyone have this setup? Will the tire rub on the spring for the suspension? It’s on stock can am rims too.
Recently noticed that since I tuned my shocks to hard, that one of them leaks after some hard riding. Anyone have idea as to why, and if I need to replace it or is it normal wear and tear?
I just ordered a dual muzzy slip on and a PCV for my renegade 1000 from VForceJohn. Just wondering if his map will work or if I should also get the auto tune. I don’t plan on doing any engine mods as of right now. I do drive anywhere from 4,000 to 10,000 ft in elevation and also summer and winter driving.

Installed these on the 1000xxc a few days ago, I am not usually into this crap but I got a 150 dollar gift card from work so I said what the heck and got these from Tricled.com.
The install was easy, the only variation I did was mount the switch in the speedo housing versus by the key switch like their instructions said.
Install took me about an hour from start to finish.

Did any body else have this problem? The support piece is too short to reach the frame. Can someone please send me a picture of Theres on a renegade , im thinking maybe they sent me the wrong mount piece for my unit or I got shorted parts that I have to install onto the frame to make up the distance??
