Looking to lift my 09 Rene 800, already have clutch kit with 27" tires on it. Would like to someday get 29.5 outlaws. Would this be axel breakers? The lift would be nice to have even without the outlaws but I think I’d love the outlaws someday.

I wasn’t sure what terms to search for this, but I have a lot of play in my handle bars. My bike is a 2014 renegade 1k. It has about 1k miles on it. Lots of mud and rough stuff…
Basically sitting on the bike, you can turn the bars a fair amount both ways before the tires move. It looks like it is the steering shaft bearing/bushings.
Anybody know of any threads out there to help with this? Any tips for things i should change when i tear everything down to fix?

Hey guys I just would like to ask have any of you rode both and which to prefer I went to almost every dealer in Georgia looking for the atvs and most are outta stock or in crates Bc both those atvs sell like hot cakes down in Georgia…. It all started when I went to the dealer at was going for a yfz450 but o seen a renegade 500 and fell in love and for 7,300 out the door well me not having credit I got Denied even with a down payment so around spring time I’m gonna try again as I got a cheap littl truck financed to start my credit and will go in with about a 3-4,000 down payment this time, but after some research on glad I got denied on the 500 as I didn’t know there were 1000:clapsmilie: I’m between the 1000 xxc or scrambler 1000 thanks in advance guys. And as matiabce goes I don’t care about it as I like tinkering with thing.

So went on a ride lastnite on my 08 renegade and was running great. All of a sudden I don’t get power to anything. Dash is off lights etc. I replaced the main relay and checked fuses in front box and all are good. Any ideas?
Bought a pair or LED headlights. I knew I could get them into the high-beam housing easily. The clearance between the low-beam and the shock is tight. I figured I’d test fit one before I bought a second set. I’m pretty sure the bulb will fit once seated, but there’s not enough room to angle the bulb to get it in. Has anyone taken the headlight assembly out? I took the bolt out of the outside corner and the nut from behind on the inboard corner. I applied a considerable amount of force, assuming the rest was snap fittings. Seeing as how the machine is 8 days old, I figured I’d consult you guys before I regretted breaking something. A search here and on YouTube provided no results. Thanks in advance.
What tire pressure is best in the stock Holeshots for typical trail riding? I just bought a 2010 Renegade and am wondering what tire pressure to use in the stock tires. I searched the forum and only found one thread on this and pressures as low as 5 Front and 3 Rear were recommended. After adjusting mine to 6.5 Front and 4.5 Rear I saw the caution sticker on the bike that says:
Front minimum 5
Rear minimum 5.5
I am also curious about the stock shocks on the 2010 Renegade. How are they? Are they low performance and as a 175 lb geriatric newbie I will I notice it? What is the best value stock upgrade?
