I am new here not to forums I frequent the diesel forum scene mainly however I seek help from the gurus on here. My story is bought a brand new 2015 650xt loaded around Christmas broke it in like I break in my diesel engines loaded and ran hard and varying rpm first 5hr gray key for sake of the belt then went to black from then on. Took in for 10hr service they said all looked good except 4 bulbs out not under warranty :th_smiliepissed:. Now I have roughly 130mi on it roughly 30hr never sunk in the mud mainly trail riding and creek crossings deepest 1ft have had it ran out to 70mph once or twice also but only after it was warm and ran some before. I also have only run high test ethanol free gasoline since day 1. I noticed Friday night when I fired it up to go riding with some friends it stumbled like a miss cutting out and spitting when I tried taking off or revving in neutral. I finally got it revved up to about 4000 in neutral held it there a minute and it was fine the rest of the time. It has since done this 2 more times and warranty was up a month ago I am fairly sure. So I am here now looking for answers as I came from Honda machines so this machine is new to me. Thanks:th_smiliewavey: On Edit I think fueling issue the pump etc any help appreciated.

After yesterday I got 55 miles, and 10 hours total on my Outlander L 450. Now the display is saying maintenance required. The book says a Can-Am service place has to clear it off and there is some maintenance that needs to be done…but what would need to be maintained?? Any ideas??
I have a 2005 outlander max xt. My brother in law was riding it up north this weekend and when he returned to cabin he says "your 4 wheeler is broke." What I found is above 15 mph it is running sluggish like its starving for fuel or air. I checked and cleaned air filter, also installed new plug. Neither of these helped. Any suggestions? Has this happened to anyone else. When it is in neutral it sounds strong when i give it gas but when I put it in gear( high , low or reverse and give it gas it is rough.
I wanted something that was cheaper than the stock storage, somewhat idiot proof since I have my moments, waterproof and dust proof. After watching the positive and negative about the Can Am storage, I just went with something that was built to take abuse. There was a guy local to me that had them on fleabay for $129, no shipping. Other sites have about same cost plus $39 for shipping to my zip.
Exterior Dimensions: 32.75" x 20.87" x 12.61"
Interior Dimensions: 29.75" x 17.87" x 10.80"
Bottom Depth: 8.18"
Total Depth: 10.80"
Drawbacks so far are: no hinges, it’s large enough not to fit with the rear seat if I install one unless you shim it to go over the rack lip.
I can fix the hinge issue by attaching lid tethers. My question is how would you attach? Permanent linq hooks in combination with tie down? Tie through handle tube? Ratchet strap to rack?
What end of the axle comes apart to swap out boots? I need to change the outside rear boot and I have the axle apart on the diff end but I can’t seem to get the ball joint knuckle off and I don’t see a clip holding it in. Or do go from the wheel end? No videos online are the same axle as this.
I’m a first time can am owner and have always ran solid axle atv’s and am used to how they handle.
Bought a 2013 1000 outlander XT. It new has 27" Zillas and a rubberdown lift.
I find it very tippy when trying to get the back end loose. I don’t think I’d even attempt a donut with it. I’m running 7lbs of air, and have the springs set up 2nd to last notch. (almost maximum stiffness)
Putting it side by side with my 2007 500 Honda Rubicon, the stance of the bikes are very close, so thinking about trying a set of wheel spacers. Any thoughts?

My rear brake is stuck on, I changed the pads, changed the caliper, and the master cylinder and it is still stuck on!!! I can barely move rear brake pedal if at all. It’s at full pressure. I’ve re beld the whole system, front brakes working fine. Rear brake is locked up.
The tail light is stuck on also. Any ideas?
